Before traveling to Rome, @henry_do knew very little of the Colosseum. He knew it was made from stones and destroyed but he did not know much of the history behind its creation and its destruction. Little did @henry_do know, he would fall in love with the history and the beauty of the ancient Colosseum. — 📌 #italy#rome — 📷 @henry_do — #voyaged#travel#adventure
Earlier this year, I was lying in the back of my car in New Zealand trying to fall asleep while watching a lil documentary. I was a month out from quitting my full-time job, completely oblivious to what I was doing, and life seemed to be falling apart (dramatic, I know.) As I was drifting in-and-out of sleep, and hardly watching said film anymore, I heard this quote that has stuck with me every day since: “You can fail at what you don’t want, so you might as well take a chance on doing what you love.” I’m not sure I’ve ever needed anything more in that moment. 365 days ago I took that chance on doing what I love. Through ups, downs, and everything in between, it was the best decision I’ve ever made. Here’s to another year of chasing that dream ✨ PS: The Netflix movie is called “The Great Beyond” and the quote comes from the great Jim Carrey - I highly recommend it for anyone needing a bit of a reality check
Hope you are not tired of the #deadsea pictures yet, cause this is our favorite series ever! This one perfectly depicts me, running towards 2020 and our next big trip! 😅 Do you already have any travel plans for next year?
Hidden viewpoint to the Sea Cliff Bridge ✨ . This place is only an hour away from Sydney and you can visit the 8 figure pools during the same trip. I have highlighted my stories how to find this viewpoint. So check them out! . We’re now driving Great Ocean Road and it‘s like freezing here. I thought it was suppose to be summer?! I want back to more north to warmer weathers haha ☀️ . Have you heard of this place and viewpoint before? . 📸 @mirocs
Story time: This photograph nearly didn’t happen. We had been in the tent for about three hours at this point - engulfed in a cloud, freezing in the negative temps, and huddled underneath an icy rain fly. I was about ready to call it and head home to the warmth of my bed. Just as morale hit an all time low, and about 45 minutes after sunset, I noticed a faint glow on the ceiling. I crawled out of my sleeping bag and opened the door not expecting too much, and was just about knocked unconscious by this view. Pure magic, happening right before my eyes. I couldn’t believe it. Thankful for every day that I get to experience life in the Pacific Northwest ✨🌲🏔 #liveyouradventure @eddiebauer #ebcontributor
THIS CANADIAN does NOT like the COLD ! I can’t believe it’s almost the end of the year, and what an Epic year its been! . My tour has now officially ended on the account that it’s just TOO COLD! I know what you’re thinking .... she’s Canadian, she must love the cold! NOPE 👎 nadda, not for me! Especially on a bike. Even though i did get to see some incredible things this last month, I did miss out on quite a bit because of the chilly weather and a bad flu. . I’m currently planning my escape to somewhere warm for the winter to work on all of the AMAZING content that I created over this last year. I have a lot of work ahead of me, but super excited to share with all of you. This will be the first time anyone has seen anything like this in Pakistan. Be prepared for something extra special! . Fear not, this is not the end of my beautiful relationship with Pakistan, I will be back, that is a promise! . . On a side note- can anyone recommend a warm place to hide for the winter? . . . A very special moment. In Zimbabwe🇿🇼 poaching and trophy hunting are still prevalent, something which vital tourist revenues and the conservation efforts of safari lodges like @matetsivictoriafalls can truly help to combat. This means that big cat 🦁 sightings are a lot more meaningful and fleeting here. Chances are that these cats have come face to face with humans that wanted to do them harm at some point😢 . We caught a brief glimpse of the female crossing one of the dirt tracks bordering the plains and drove a little further ahead in the hopes of catching sight of her later on. We weren't expecting for her mate to be waiting under a tree and for the two of them to quietly groom eachother, periodically looking over to check that we weren't a threat. In other game reserves you might have had three other vehicles (or more!) vying for position🚐 . Here we felt extremely fortunate to take the moment in by ourselves and move on quietly, leaving these majestic animals to enjoy their time together in peace ❤️ .
