Here’s a list of everything that’s grown since menopause: ⭐️ My boobs! A whole cup size! If this were the mantra for all of us, we would experience so much more connection and healing within the container of relationship. Taking the time to learn our partner’s heart is one of the most beautiful gifts we can ever extend. When we slow down and get curious during conflict, we are saying “I see you and I want to love you better”. . When we ask questions instead of making assumptions, we are saying “I want to understand you”. . When we take a breath and tune into our own sensations before reacting so we can share from our heart we are saying “I’m responsible for my reactions, and I want to show up for you”. . Every single person on the planet is worthy of having someone see them, listen to them, and seek to understand them. Yet in relationship, the power struggle is a dominant channel we find ourselves stuck in - sometimes for years or a lifetime. It is the stage of relationship that we get caught in when we aren’t in relationship with our shadow - when our patterns are unconsciously running the show. Showing up for the work in relationship is a two-way dance that requires a connection from head to heart. It means we are willing to be wrong, and we are willing to see the world through our partners' eyes. Embodying the practices of Conscious Relationship also means we know that our relationship to self is a priority. It is the foundation from which all other relations may falter or flourish. Here are some questions to ask your partner: . How do you like to be loved? . What is something that hurt you when you were little that you still carry with you today? . What can I do to love you better? . When we’re in conflict, what is something I can give you to help you feel safe, seen and heard? . What are your dreams? . What are your fears? . To move from the Power Struggle to True Partnership, we have to release any urge to try and make our partner be more like us, and really witness and accept them for who they are. And we must do
You are what your deepest desire is. ♥️🔮 It’s through our intentions that we pave the path toward our future selves. Our intentions are directed impulses of consciousness that contain the seed form of that thing we aim to create. Intentions can’t grow if we hold on to them. Only when we release our intentions into the depths of our consciousness can they grow and flourish. 🌱 As you look forward to the new year and reflect upon the type of change you’d like to invite, the goals you’d like to achieve, the type of person you’d like to become, take a look at this list of intentions to inspire growth in the new year. 💬 Share with us: What are your intentions for the new year? 👉 Check out our 2020 vision board for more inspiration as you sharpen your own vision (link in bio!).
Follow: @the.library.of.thomas The pentagram expresses the mind's domination over the elements and it is by this sign that we bind the demons of the air, the spirits of fire, the specters of water, and the ghosts of earth. It is the star of the Magi, the burning star of the Gnostic schools, the sign of intellectual omnipotence and autocracy. Its complete comprehension is the key of two worlds - it is absolute natural philosophy and natural science. Its use, however, is most dangerous to operators who do not completely and perfectly understand it... All mysteries of magic, all symbols of the gnosis, all figures of occultism, all kabbalistic keys of prophecy, are resumed in the sign of the pentagram; which Paracelsus proclaims to be the greatest and most potent of all. It is indeed the sign of the absolute and universal synthesis. #Éliphaslévi#air#fire#earth#water#spirit#thepentagram#thelibraryofthomas ARTIST: UNKNOWN, TAG BELOW
🤳Post a photo of your 2020 vision board and tag us @chopracenter for your chance to be featured (+ we want to see what's in store for you!). Ready to start crafting? Here are some steps to help get you started: 🧘 Connect to your vision Meditate, daydream, or journal about all the things you want to be, do, or have. Consider every aspect of your life – your career, relationship, spirituality, community, and your health. The more specific you can be, the better. Light some candles and play some good music to help to set the tone for reflecting on your personal goals and the success you want to achieve in life. 🎨 Gather your materials Flip through magazines and cut out images and words that call to you. Remember that it’s crucial for everything you choose for your vision board to be representative of what you DO WANT, not anything you don’t. 🖼️ Display it Once you’ve made your vision board, it’s important to hang it in view—maybe on the inside of your closet door or on your refrigerator. Don’t feel like you need to stare at it 24/7, but it does need to appear in a place where you’ll come across it every day so that it reminds you of your goals and inspires you to continue working toward them. 🌎 Let the universe do its thing Trust that the universe will provide you with the opportunities to manifest those things you desire. As you come up with new ideas and inspirations, feel free to add to your board – it should be a flexible and fluid representation of your desires. ✨A new age is upon us. With it comes a blank slate. A fresh start. A new chance to become the person we were meant to be.✨ Sure, we’re given this chance every day, but this transformational energy is especially potent at the start of a new year and a new decade. 💭 It’s the perfect time to reflect on the previous year or decade and set the stage for your desires in the next year. Times of transition give us an opportunity to reevaluate. It’s around this time that we often make resolutions to start a new diet, recommit to our gym membership, or cultivate stronger relationships. But it also gives us the opportunity to look more deeply within and ask ourselves, “What do I really want at the level of my soul?” Before embracing the new, we have to create space. As T.S. Elliot wrote, “Last year's words belong to last year's language and next year's words await another voice.” Take a few minutes to recap or review the main events of your life during the last year... 🔹 NOTICE when you felt stuck or experienced an emotional charge 🔹 ACCEPT that whatever happened has happened 🔹 FORGIVE those who may have harmed you in some way, including yourself 🔹 ASK yourself what is the most important thing you learned from each experience When you ask yourself, “What do I really, really want?” be bold. Your year will be a reflection of your intentions. 💬 Tag someone who needs to hear this! Quote via @yogajournal
May I just say that this journey never ends! You know why? Because you are changing every fucking day. You are evolving and growing while shedding your old skin. Embrace it! This journey might be messy, crazy, fun, unpredicted, peaceful and chaotic. Empowerment doesn’t just come with reading a book, or even taking one of my courses. Yes, it will equip you with life-changing tools and show you the way 💯! But until you show up on the arena, nothing will change. Don’t expect this journey to end so you feel completely in peace. Let’s just agree, that’s not why we are here. We are here to feel every color life offers to us. Feel it. Live it. . Peel the layers of your own bullshit. Face your demons. I can help you do it, but I can’t get on the arena FOR you. Step up. Show up. I love you friends so much. My energy has been shifting these last few days. From my experiences, life is amazing. Embrace every color of life. Embrace the contrast. Embrace the intensity of your feelings. That means you are fucking ALIVE 😀 ... xx . . . . . #love#light#create#inspire#feelings#selfcare#selflove#lightworker#janelightworker#qotd#quotestoliveby#energy#healer#awakener#spiritualawakening#soul#spirit#thirdeye#chakra#yoga#empath#empathsbelike#qotd#faith#acim#freedom#writer#meditation
