Happy Thanksgiving dear friends! We’re especially grateful for these 3 stooges, Larry (Nutmeg) , Moe (Lola) , Curley (Mushu). Although we’ve had a lot of loss this past year, we’ve also been incredibly blessed. The day after Bo passed away, the sermon was about seeing the grace amongst the suffering. Everyday, since then we’ve chosen to see the blessings, and there are so many! Buying and wearing that silly fawn pug hat with the tongue that made Mom both laugh and cry. Our sweet Vet neighbor offered to give Bo his infusions when he wasn’t even his patient ! The Totota dealer that fixed Mom’s “new” grumblemobile 🚘 and gave her a loaner no charge when she got stranded. (Emotionally, Mom was drained and exhausted, and nearly bawled right there in the middle of the dealership. She couldn’t handle one more thing .) Instead, she prayed The Serenity Prayer, and thanked them for their good service. When Bo started declining, we had some trips planned, which were cancelled . We had no idea how long he’d last but Mom wasn’t going to leave him. Then several weeks after he passed, Dad asked if we wanted to make some plans for the holidays, since we cancelled everything . On a whim, Mom found a cruise that was practically being given away. So, thank you Bohdi for prearranging this lovely trip, you know how hard we work and how desperately we needed to unplug. So everyday, we smile and take an attitude of seeing the grace, amidst the suffering, and being thankful. So we are taking this time to decompress and to wish our teen 👧🏻 a Happy 14th birthday! It’s going to be a crazy 6 mos, so bear with us. We have the 👦🏼 teen graduating high school , choosing a college, buying a house and repairing, updating and selling our house after 17 years! We are moving 1 hour south to Bradenton, FL (maybe you’ve heard of Anna Maria Island ?) but we digress... thank you all for your support and kind words ! We love you!
