It’s the most wonderful time of the year and we’re over here celebrating every single day of it✨ We’ve decorated our house, made Christmas cookies, watched sappy movies and drank hot chocolate. What else can we do? Let me know in the comments 🙌🏼 12 days till Christmas you guys!!!! #magicofchristmas
We made the most delicious sugar cookies last night✨ We decorated them and it was magical. Then Bella had a sugar high and ran around the house for like an hour+. It was so fun 😅😂 Ps. Those Dinos were her favorite #christmasmemories#magicofchristmas
I’m not sure there’s anything more magical than being a mother at Christmas time✨ Lucca hasn’t been old enough to understand much about Christmas until this year. To see him light up and get so excited is the best thing ever☺️ Soaking up every bit of it of the season. On the agenda for this weekend; drive thru lights, Christmas movies, and finish decorating🎄 What are your weekend plans, tell me any any fun todos we should put on our Christmas bucket list?
We’re off to see Santa today🎅🏼 Second attempt if you saw my stories the line was too long over the weekend. Hoping to beat the crowds today🤞🏻 and so excited to see what he thinks! Is it bad I kinda think the ones crying on Santa’s lap are adorable😆 although I do not think we will get that with Lucca he’s really never met a stranger! Mama’s have you taken your little one’s yet? Also a reminder to enter my gifting going on right now in my last post. It ends tomorrow night!!💕
. #momlifebelike#mommin#momlifestyle#mommymoments#lifeasmama
about to dump that coffee out for a whiteclaw in a couple hours (i like black cherry). . . we’re hosting a (not very appropriate) white elephant tonight with our college friends lol. it’s so juvenile i can’t wait. just might go buy a handle of popov to really crank up the nostalgia. 🏳️🐘 #beardown . . stumped on a holiday makeup look for tonight’s Christmas party? head over to my blog (in bio) for some inspo. 💄✨ @liketoknow.it #liketkit http://liketk.it/2I83i
Everyone needs that one mom friend that won’t judge you for saying “my kid was a real a**hole today.” Luckily I’ve got 2! 😬 To continue the theme of thankfulness (from thanksgiving) I want to share that I’m thankful for these mamas. Being a mom is hard, but I’m thankful to have friends that are empowering and supportive during all the unpleasant moments that teething, leaps, and over tiredness can bring. Love my #momtribe! Also, how cute do we look with our matching Life backpack 2.0?? It’s easily become my favorite bag for everyday #momlife. Link in bio. Hope everyone has a great Monday and please share below what you’re thankful for! 🥰 #mydccool#visitdc
Hot Chocolate or Egg Nog? . Growing up I was all about the egg nog over the holidays and then at some point I completely ditched the egg nog and I’m a full hot cocoa girl now but maybe it’s because I love mini marshmallows and whipped cream.... . Either way I can’t even believe there are only 12 days left until Christmas and this Santa hasn’t started Christmas shopping. Firing up the sleigh...any 9 yr old boy gift suggestions welcome 🥰🥰🥰 . Please tell me I’m not alone 🤪 . I did at least get E a cute Christmas Dinner outfit today @teacollection pop up happening this weekend @flickakidsshop ... they have some great pieces for both boys and girls. E got a fair aisle cardigan and gray sweats with dark gray pine trees. Casual cute ❤️ . . . #12daysofchristmas#12daysuntilchristmas#christmasshopping#christmascountdown#momlifebelike#momlife#teacollection#teamakesfriends . .
Look, we all have our own version of normal, okay? Seriously though...I can’t tell if the last 7 months have gone by lightning fast or painfully slow, but my baby is finally on a schedule and hallelujah, praise the lord, my life has regained some fucking predictability. • The first 6 or so months of having a baby is kind of like a dumpster fire; nap inconsistencies, feeding issues, growth spurts and sleep regressions will have you questioning every decision you ever made. Your kid will have a few gassy nights and the next thing you know you’re blaming dairy for the fact that your husband left his dishes in the sink. FUCKING DAIRY. • Finally having the baby on a schedule has given me a sense of control over my day and, even though my windows to get things done are still really tight, at least I have a sense of when I’m going to have a damn window now. Up until very recently, I’ve just been treading water making it through the days. The end of a pregnancy followed by the treachery of the newborn phase was nothing short of torture at times. I hate to say it because I know it doesn’t sound good, but it’s how I felt and I feel it’s important to talk about how hard that all was for me, so that other moms know they’re not alone. • I had a flashback the other day to those early weeks of motherhood. The weeks he slept in my room and awoke four, sometimes five, times a night to feed and need diaper changes. The blowouts in mid-diaper change that nearly broke my spirit. My body was exhausted to the core, my nipples were about to fall off, my stomach was all mangled and sore from my c-section and my heart and patience were working triple overtime to keep me above water when my other children would come in, happy to see me in the morning, not knowing that the sight of them made me want to cry because I didn’t know how I would get through the day of taking care of three other people. It’s no wonder it takes multiple months to bounce back from that
