STOP 🛑 DIETING LONG TERM  You lost weight and are happy with your hard work, but you feel like you need to lose more. You decide to keep dieting for another 8 weeks. You’re tired all the time. Your workouts suck. Your sugar cravings are high... what now?  You start eating more, you feel like you can’t control yourself around foods you love, and you’ve stopped monitoring your food intake. A couple months go by and you realize you’ve gained most of the weight, if not all of it back!  This is the story I hear over and over again from clients explaining their diet history... Why is this happening?! Because we are not meant to “diet” aka be in a calorie deficit long term!  Most dieting phases should last between 8-16weeks. During longer dieting phases, there should be periods where you are eating more food and no longer technically in a calorie deficit (you may need this monitored by a coach)  But Kelsey... the 16 weeks have gone by and I’m not 100% happy with how I look yet. I feel like I still need to lose 10lbs. I’m not as confident as I’d like to be.  THATS OKAY 👌🏼 we are looking at building a foundation of nutrition & fitness that will last the rest of your life 🙌🏼. So we take a couple months off of dieting. Get your food up. Have you feeling amazing!!! Your workouts feel fantastic. Your sleep has improved. You’re no longer the grumpy girl in the office! Then when you’re ready to start dieting again, we can do that.  Stop rushing to the end line! Who won the race, the tortoise or the hare?  Comment below your experience with dieting! #tuesdaytransformation  Eat less move more. Show up to the gym everyday, eat things that nourish you and put in the work.  There aint no quick fixes  This was not a result of some detox diet, or juice diet or some fat burners but an aftermath of being consistent with your diet and  pushing your limit in the gym everyday.  Being fit is not about what you do in the gym its more about what happens when you not in the gym. Your meal frequency, calories intake, macro nutrients everything needs to be on point to create the perfect environment for your body to change.  It is not easy, there may be times when you would  doubt yourself and not willing to work but it is those days where you have to dig deep inside you and push that much harder.  These pics are approximately 3 months apart. Dropped from 64kg to 57 kg. Pbf from 33.4 to 23.7 currently. Gained muscle mass and increased metabolism. NEW WORKOUT ROUTINE🖤 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I’ve been feeling super lost in my workouts and eating and decided I should try changing it up! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I usually do spin 5x a week, and do strength training 3-4x a week. That is a lot of working out and way too much cardio for my food intake. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I’m going to start spinning 2x a week, and do strength training 4-5x a week. I also want to try incorporating a rest/yoga day. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Lastly, I’m going to start doing some yoga and foam rolling every morning.
