Oh hiii! 👋 ◇ These last couple weeks have been filled with travel - first a very last minute trip up to La Paz, Mexico - a place I have been wanting to go for years. Then a week in Kansas City to watch my best friend get married and spend time with family and friends. ◇ These two back to back trips reminded me equally - 1) how much I love traveling - the different routines, the challenges, seeing and tasting different things. and also 2) how much I love Oaxaca and my life here. ◇ I'll take this split personality reaction as a good thing. Maybe it'll keep me balanced. ◇ Here's one thing I always love love love about Oaxaca - the colorful street art. 🎨 by @chavez.hollar 📷@ologram
Dia de los Muertos celebrations are here! Or in the case here in Oaxaca, hundreds (thousands?) of things going on all week long. ◇ I'm off to Puebla for 2 days for a special Muertos event there with @mesonessacristia then will return to Oaxaca just in time for lots more celebrations here at the end of the week. ◇ Keep an eye on my Stories for lots of updates on how Muertos is celebrated in Puebla and Oaxaca. 📷 @olo_gram
