COURAGE - 💙ADOPTED💙 . . My name is Courage and I am a 1 year old Lab x Hound mix. I have super sweet eyes, super soft ears and a fun loving, outgoing personality. I weigh about 55lbs and am all done growing now. . . I love the company of other dogs and do not mind sharing my foster family with a couple. I am also good with kitties and try to play with them. I would be great with kids too and would not mind having some kids to play with in my new home. I am house trained and am crated when my foster mom is not home as sometimes those food smells get to my hound nose and I want to get up on the counter to eat them snacks. . . I would love a family who wants to take me for walkies and let me romp around in the backyard. I have been off leash running and do really well with that too, I am even be a good boy at the dog park meeting all the dogs and playing nicely. I am pretty good going for walkies and like to meet people and sniff all the things. I am pretty awesome but most of the time black doggies like me get overlooked because we are too plain. I am hoping there is a family out there who will want to welcome me into their hearts and home. . . If you think you can offer me the best forever family ever then please apply for me on this website. https://scaarontario.weebly.com/adoption-application.html An adoption donation of $395 applies for me; I have been neutered, vaccinated with my age appropriate vaccines, dewormed, heartworm tested, been given flea/tick prevention and will come with my health certificate as well as 30 days of pet insurance. . . #lab#hound#courage#fosteringsaveslives#fosterdog#fosterdogsofinstagram#rescue#adoptdontshop#scaarlondon#scaar#adoptfosterdonate#londonont#ldn#petphotography#ldnont#puppiesofinstagram#rescuepuppiesofinstagram#swampyetiphotography
“Welcome! Everything is fine.” 💚 When Janet came to Helen Woodward Animal Center, she wasn’t sure she was really in the Good Place. She was brought to a Texas shelter heartworm positive and about to have babies any day. Almost as soon as she arrived in San Diego, she gave birth to TEN puppies (Eleanor, Tahani, Chidi, Jason, Michael, Shawn, Trevor, Jeff, Derek and Jeremy Bearimy.) 💚 At first, Janet was nervous and wouldn’t leave her puppies for a second. However, in just 4 short weeks, she has settled into her foster home, learned to trust people and realized that her life has changed for the better. Stay tuned for updates on Janet and her 10 Janet babies.
I have been in anticipation of this day for the past year, wondering if Rider was going to make it to this day this year. Considering I left home around 15, was with my ex-husband for around 10 years, Rider has been the single most consistent rock in my life. She was there for the sale of my Jersey Farmhouse, the move to Texas, the burial of both my parents, the move across the country, and the birth of Beautycounter. She is my confidant, my conscience, my “everything will be okay” for as long as I can remember. Although she may be a bit blind in one eye, possesses a few not so dependable legs, she is still just as happy to be alive. And I am all the better for supporting her in what will one day might be her last. You see, I believe love comes in many forms, and there is no greater love than those of our four legged friends. ❤️ Happy sweet 16 Rider Pearl. I love you more than all the treats in the world. #sweet16#riderpearl
