✨Happy 6 months to me ✨ . Today marks 6 months since I have been in business! Just me and my little salon, The Hair Shed. Taking that initial step 6 months ago was so damn scary, I had so many sleepless nights. Waking up in a panic, and it being constantly on my mind. Going from working as part of a team in a salon, to doing it all by myself was so daunting and overwhelming that I had a constant ball of anxiety in my stomach. Fast forward to 6 months later.....and I just can’t believe how much joy and satisfaction it has brought into my life. Ok yes, running your own business is hard. It’s stressful and it’s also very very (very) time consuming. From stock orders, to booking systems, to client replies and instagram managing- then on top of that running a full time busy diary and keeping a salon tidy and professional- it’s safe to say it’s hard work. But with hard work comes job satisfaction, and I can say with 100% confidence that I have never felt so content at work. I have been overwhelmed with the support from my clients, it takes a huge leap of faith to trust in a ‘home hairdresser’ and my clients are so loyal and supportive and I just LOVE YOU ALL! Some of you travel so far to get here and I’m always so appreciative of that. And some live just round the corner who I would never have got an opportunity to meet had I have not had this salon. I also feel so so grateful for my amazing husband Jack. I’m not one for gushy posts, but here comes some cringiness....... without him, there would be absolutely no way I could have started my own business. He has been there to support me and is basically like the secret salon manager 😂 always correcting me where I might be going wrong or congratulating me when I’ve been getting it spot on, giving me financial support back when I was worried I would have no clients 😂Thankyou Jack. And sorry for when you find clumps of hair clippings in the hallway 😂😂🙈 Thankyou to my clients, I promise
Callum Tips no.458 - I’ve been doing flips since 2007. I’ve just barely gotten better at them since. Stop being surprised when I do a front in the odd upload. ▪️ More Horsham nonsense at the @contenduntpk Jam. 📹: @benjcave #callumtips#storror#parkour#parkourculture#horsham
Today signals the end of our summer and the beginning of autumn ☀🍂 The equinox is a phenomenon that only occurs twice a year. It happens when the sun positions itself exactly above the equator between the Northern and Southern Hemisphere.
We cannot express the gratitude and excitement our team feels tonight! Restaurant Interlude has been rewarded with a Michelin Star in our very first year of opening. Thank you to everyone who has supported us on our journey thus far and to Michelin for the recognition 🌟
Tomorrow we will have THREE new beers for you to try, come out and let your tastebuds go wild!! . . Good Good Things (pictured above), a Berliner Weiss, which is a low strength, tart wheat ale with origins in Berlin, Germany. We will be serving this as it is or with your choice of raspberry or woodruff syrups. . . Big Hard Sun, a milkshake IPA conditioned on passion fruit and mango with lactose and vanilla, hopped with citra and mosaic hops. . . Fallen Awake, a beautiful ESB like you would find in English pubs. . . See you this weekend!!!
After posting a nude photo of myself on the beach I had a lot of wonderful people contact me and say the most lovely things, and asked a few questions. So I thought maybe I'll do a post instead 🤷🏼♀️ . I hate a long story long so here's a quick breakdown of my 29years on this earth. . Born May 5th 1990 in #horsham but I live in #murtoa for the first 15 years of my life. I have 2 older brothers and my parents are still together alive and well. We moved to #albury in 2005 where I met @pschupina at the start of 2009. We got engaged in 2010 and pregnant in 2010 giving birth to Max May 2nd 2011. He had #clubfoot was born via #csection due to #fetaldistress after a failed induction 🙄 . After months of castings and special shoes at 7months old he has his first #seizure , he also went on to have more, an #mri scan showed us a small lesion on his brain but nothing to be too concerned with. After some time we started to try for another baby, which resulted in 4 #miscarriages and a lot of heap to getand stay pregnant with Eli. Who was born at 26 weeks on the 18th April 2014. He spent 3 months in the #nicu while I pumped and care for him, and Peter had to keep working away at the time and my parents helped with Max who was 3 at the time. After 6 months old eli was old enough to come off oxygen and we were able to move back up north to be with Pete instead of fifo and all he together again. When Eli was 9 months old and still full time #breastfeeding I fell pregnant with Milah. Scared to give birth prematurely again in May 2015 the kids and I moved back to Albury wodonga to be closer to family and better health care facilities and peter continued to work away until a few days before Milah was born I was admitted to ICU because I was in #heartfalure , 29th of September Milah was born at 34 weeks. We only lasted 1 swing on fifo after that before I needed pete home with us for help. . We bought a brand new car, bought a house and pete working a normal job we
