Whenever I speak about the practice of yoga to my students in our YTTs, I always talk about the myth that becoming more Awake is all about happiness. It’s NOT. Becoming more awake is all about increasing perception and sensitivity. This will make you available to both joy and suffering. Yoga is not a one way ticket to bliss...it’s a LONG journey to depth, truth and meaning. There will be plenty of joy along the way, and also meaningful challenges. Trust the process and keep diving in.

My favorite place to style our merch is in our kitchen. I love being in the kitchen, I love to cook. I love gathering people together with food. Food impacts every aspect of our lives, something I learned after years of sickness. This might be why I gravitate to the kitchen, but it’s also a fun place to style these wares. It has its quirks, things that drive me crazy, but it’s my favorite space nonetheless.
