Makes 2 servings . INGREDIENTS: 3-4 very large leaves lettuce (Romaine, Butter, Red leaf, or Bibb lettuce) 5 slices nitrate-free roasted deli turkey, or chicken breast (I used really thin slices, use only 2-3 slices if they're thicker, about 4-5 ounces total) 1/2 a small avocado thinly sliced 2 spoonfuls of your homemade ranch sauce 1 thin slice of cheese, cut in half (optional) 1 or 2 slices cooked nitrate free bacon, sliced in half 2-3 thin slices of Roma tomato . For your Ranch Sauce: 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt 1 tsp dijon mustard sea salt and fresh ground black pepper, to taste about an 1/8 teaspoon each 1 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp onion powder 1 Tbsp finely chopped fresh dill 2 Tbsps finely chopped chives . INSTRUCTIONS: First, make the homemade ranch sauce. Add all the ranch ingredients to a very small glass bowl, then whisk until well combined. Set. Next, let's assemble your lettuce roll-ups. Lay out a large piece of parchment paper on a cutting board. Layer the lettuce leaves as shown. Top lettuce with turkey breast, ranch, avocado, cheese, bacon, and tomato. Start rolling it tight from one end. As you get to the end, roll it again with the parchment paper so it holds together and tighten up the end. Slice the wrap through the parchment paper in half. There’s no way that I’m going to give unhealthy, disease-promoting gifts to people that I care about. There’s nothing that I value more than my health and the health of my friends and family. Hickory Farms sausage is non-organic meat that was likely raised on growth hormones and antibiotics, and cured with sodium nitrite which is strongly linked to cancer. Those crackers are made with heavily processed canola oil that isn't good for the heart. And, those cute little "strawberry" candies are filled the corn syrup and dyed with Red #40. Baby Pumpkin Pies by @bos.kitchen Headover to her page for loads of deliciously healthy recipes! #recipe 👇 ➕➕INGREDIENTS Crust 1 cup buckwheat 1.5 cups pecans 2 tbsp cacao 1.5 cups dates 1 tbsp coconut oil 4 tbsp water . Filling 1 can coconut milk 1 cup pumpkin puree 1.5 tbsp pumpkin spice 2 tbsp maple syrup 1 tbsp coconut oil . Topping 1 can coconut milk (cream only) 1/4 cup dark chocolate, melted 3 tbsp chopped pecans . ⏩⏩Instructions Add all crust ingredients to a blender and process until a dough is formed. Press into a lined or silicone muffin tin and set aside. Make filling by blending all filling ingredients together until smooth. Pour on top of crust and set aside in the freezer for at least four hours, or overnight. Whip up coconut cream with a fork and set aside in the fridge to thicken for 10 mins. Pop pies out of muffin tin/mold and drizzle with melted chocolate. Spoon coco whip into piping bag fitted with a large star tip nozzle. Swirl cream onto each cupcake and garnish with pecans. Sheet Pan Dinner 🍴 Made my grandma and myself this easy chicken dinner tonight- packed with veggies + lots of flavor 😍 Keeping it simple over here after a busy day. Easy dinners always hit the spot + we have leftovers which you know I love 😎 - - My grandma had never made a sheet pan meal so I was kind of showing her the ropes. Thought I’d break it down here too my method behind how I make them. I pick a veggie, potato, and protein. Then I google about how long it takes to make them all at 400F. Based on that, I add them on to the pan at different times. For this actually, everything took about 30-35 minutes so I added it all at once. For seasoning, I kept it simple and salt free because she watches her salt intake. Everything was ready in 35 mins + only one pan to clean up which was what I wanted after an afternoon of recipe testing haha. My grandpa is doing better every day but still recovering in the hospital, thanks to everyone for the warm thoughts and prayers ❤️ - - #dinner details 👉🏻 preheat oven to 400F What you need: 2 chicken breasts 2 sweet potatoes 1 lb brussel sprouts 2 tbsp oil ( I used avocado but olive would work fine) 1 tbsp garlic powder 1 tsp onion powder 1 tsp oregano Optional sprinkle salt and pepper. Chop the sweet potatoes and cut the sweet potatoes in half. Coat with 2 tbsp oil then add to a sheet pan. Add your chicken breasts on top. Then in a small bowl, mix your spices. Roasted up some tomatoes this morning so obvi had to include them in my lunch today😎All the veggies were made ahead of time (just sautéed in garlic & olive oil) then I reheated them on the stove with lots of @primalpalate’s garlic & herb seasoning! Happy Wednesday friends! I was planning to get up early this morning to go to the gym but the thought of going outside in below zero temps did not sound appealing 😬❄️ so I opted to stay warm and cozy in bed for a little longer and go later, only to find out that my car won’t start 🙃 needless to say the gym won’t be happening today and that’s totally okay! Butternut squash fusilli with avocado and pumpkin seed butter pesto 💚😍 📸: @the_clumsy_vegan . Recipe: Crinkle cut butternut squash: 2 cup (shop bought) Olive oil: to coat Nutritional yeast: 1 Tbsp Smoked paprika: 2 tsp For pesto Avocado: 1 Basil leaves: 1/2 cup pumpkin seed butter: 1 Tbsp Smoked salt: 2 tsp Almond milk: 1 Tbsp Method: 1) Preheat oven to 175C 2) Make pesto by blending all the ingredients together 3) Coat squash with olive oil and roast in a preheated ovnfor 20-25 min till done 4) Coat with pesto and sprinkle with nutritional yeast and paprika. 5) Enjoy!
Creamy tahini-garlic pasta, mushrooms and peas along with oven roasted broccoli 🥦 and turmeric cauliflower by @plantbased_food_and_travel 🌱 . Ingredients. 1/2 cup/120 ml tahini (try to get some of the runny original arabic good stuff). 3/4 cup/180 ml water. 1 tsp garlic powder (or 1 fresh clove). 1 tsp onion powder. 1 tsp pepper. 1 tsp salt. 1 tsp lemon juice (optional, I haven’t used it because of my HI). . Instructions. So so easy ☺️. Put everything together in a small blender or food processor and blend until everything is combined. Mix with your favorite pasta 🍝. • • #vegantropism
Running on pasta, vegan sausage and love at the moment. 🏃🏽♀️💃🏽This is the equivalent of true bliss and this is coming from someone that isn’t even a pasta lover. 🙃 Tonight I am thankful to this amazing tomato tahini sauce and some tasty sausage from @highpeaks_sausage. Recipe below. 👏🏽 . Tomato Tahini Pasta and Sausage 1 plant based sausage (I used @highpeaks_sausage)* 1 serving of whole wheat pasta of choice 1/4 red onion diced 1 can diced tomatoes 1 heaping tbsp tomato paste 1 heaping tbsp tahini 1 tsp dry basil 1 tsp dry oregano 1 trap minced garlic 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes 1 tsp smoked paprika 1/2 cup water 1 bell pepper cut into strips 2 handfuls spinach Salt and pepper to taste . Bring a pot of water to a boil. Once boiling add a pinch of salt then add in pasta and cook according to instructions. Drain and set aside. In a separate pan add onion and sauté until softened. Add in sausage and peppers and sauté allowing sausage to brown/sear slightly. Add in minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add in tomato paste, diced tomatoes, and all seasonings. Stir to combine then add in tahini and water. Stir and bring to a simmer for about 10 minutes. Add in spinach and allow to wilt then remove from heat. Stir in drained pasta and stir to fully combine. 🥣 . If you can’t do gluten you can replace the sausage with canellini beans and the pasta with a gluten free alternative (bean or corn pastas work great). 🌙

Pedig annyi a trükk, hogy glutén/sikér hozzáadásával csökkentik a lisztkeverékek szénhidrát-tartalmát... 🤷🏼♀️ Pár éve készítettek külföldön egy villám-közvéleménykutatást, megkérdezték az embereket, tudják-e, mi a glutén. ❓Leggyakoribb válaszok: „ördögtől való”, „az, ami megöl”, „nem tudom, de kerülöm”. Na! A glutén (más néven sikér) a gabonamag belsejében található fehérje-komplex; gliadin és glutenin fehérjék keveréke. Nem oldódik vízben, folyadék hozzáadásával, dagasztás hatására megduzzad, rugalmassá válik és ún. térhálós szerkezet alakul ki. Kelesztés során a térhálós szerkezetben gázbuborékok keletkeznek, így lesz a kelt tészta laza, lyukacsos szerkezetű. ❗️Autoimmun lisztérzékenységben a búzagliadin és a gliadinnal azonos szerkezettel rendelkező gabonafehérjék (szekalin a rozsban, hordein az árpában) okozzák a tüneteket, nem pedig maga a liszt! A klasszikus értelemben vett gluténérzékenység kifejezés alatt az ún. gluténszenzitív enteropathiát, cöliákiát értjük. Ez egy örökletes, genetikailag meghatározott autoimmun betegség, régi nevén „lisztérzékenység”. A lisztérzékenység szó azonban megtévesztő, mert ma már több állapotra, betegségre is utalhat az elnevezés! My new favorite way to cook oats: add extra protein👏🏻 I’ve been consciously trying to incorporate more protein into my meals & this is a sneaky way of doing it. The texture is absolutely incredible-the fluffiest and creamiest🥣 Sweet n salty, creamy n crunchy..it hit the spot after a solid 6am workout🏋🏼♀️ Also why has it taken me this long to add yogurt on top of my oats???😮 . . To make: I boiled 1 cup of water in a pot on the stove, added 1/2 cup oats, 1/4 cup grated carrot, 1 tsp chia seeds, a dash of cinnamon, and 2 egg whites. The key to not have scrambled eggs in your oats is to CONSTANTLY whisk your oats once you add the egg whites. Keep stirring until your desired consistency and until the egg whites are fully cooked. I topped mine with @oikosprotein vanilla yogurt, crunchy pb, frozen berries, sautéed banana, and @goodmixfoods fruit and nut mix😊
