“But that's the problem with letting someone slowly chip away at your walls—when you let too much of yourself out, there's no way to get it back." . . I just finished reading Little Monsters by Kara Thomas. . . 💭: Since I am a huge fan of mystery thriller novels, I didn’t hesitate buying this when a friend told me it’s a good one. I even saw a lot of positive reviews and its rate on goodreads is quite high. It got me hooked a few pages in because the first few chapters are really chilling. But it gradually lost my interest. I don’t understand why it focused so much on the “weird” actions and mental health issues of other characters but did not mention any about the one who is really fucked up. (Sorry but I really hate that girl’s character. So manipulative 😅) The 2nd revelation didn’t surprise me because I kinda knew, but I was hoping for MORE. 😅 It’s good but it didn’t meet my kind of mystery thriller. But I still enjoyed reading it and not a second did I think of not finishing it. It left me with few questions in mind and I like it. If you’re looking for a light YA mystery thriller I’d recommend this one. I’m giving it 3.5⭐️ . . Hi readers! 🤓 I hope everyone’s having a great weekend. 🤗 What are you guys reading? How is it? . . Btw, I finally got a copy of Finding Chika by Mitch Albom! My heart is so happy and I’m so excited to read it. ☺️ . . #borntoread#books#bookstagramfeatures#bookstagram#bookstoread#bookcommunity#bookworm#thewildreaders#bookstagramph#bookdragon#currentlyreading#chaptigue#booksbooksbooks#mybookfeatures#bookstagramcommunity#booksofinstagram#booklion#booknerdproblems#bookaholic#donereading#bookreview#bibliophileph#karathomas#littlemonsters

SOMEONE MAKE THIS INTO A MOVIE ASAP (after googling looks this this could be in the works). Anyway, Riley Sager does it again with Lock Every Door. This book was SO hyped up, and it totally lived up to it!!! Love when that happens. • Jules is out of a job, and recently dumped when she stumbles upon a job opening for an apartment sitter in a highly exclusive building, The Bartholomew. During the interview, Jules learns the rules: no nights sleeping out, no visitors, no speaking to residents. If she follows them, she could earn $12,000 for her 3 months in the apartment. Jules takes the job, and things seem to be okay other than a few creepy noises at night. She even makes friends with another sitter, Ingrid. When Ingrid suddenly disappears overnight, Jules begins digging into past sitters...only to find that all of them suddenly “moved out” overnight with no notice. Jules is terrified, but must find Ingrid and figure out what is really happening at the Bartholomew. If something seems too good to be true, it usually is... • I could not wait to read this one. When I finally got it, I think it finished it in a night. Sager has this skill at making all of his books impossible to put down. Lock Every Door packed all the entertainment and thrills I wanted. The ending was completely unexpected and made this book stand out amongst others. Red wine, reminiscent of blood, was perfect for this one. Comment a 💉 if you get my clue! • #bookblogger#bookstagram#whattoreadnext#booksbooksbooks#booksofinstagram#booksofinsta#bookaddict#bookstoread#readinganddrinking#booklovers#bookporn#bibliophile#literature#librariansofinstagram#rileysager#decemberreads#booksandwine#winterbooks#bookiveread#thrillers#lockeverydoor

White stack for a white Christmas ❄️ JK because I live in California and have only seen snow once or twice in my life 🤷♀️ guys I finished One Day in December yesterday and oh my gosh why did I wait! I’m glad I read it in this month but it was seriously such a perfect read, and I can feel the book hangover coming on. @jillsantopolo was quoted on the front cover saying that @josiesilverauthor’s “characters sneak their way into your heart and stay” and this was too accurate. Definitely recommend! 📚What book do you always recommend to friends? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #bookstagram#amreading#bookishlife#bookcommunity#igreads
The most successful people in life always have positive habits that help them improve daily. Stephen Covey realized that there are 7 habits that helped successful people achieve greatness! Here are 3 of those habits. 1) Begin with the end in mind. 2) Think Win-Win. 3) Be Proactive. I know what you're thinking. That's not much detail on this book. In reality it's more detail than you need to get started! Book summaries are a shortcuts that prevent you from learning the small details. Reading them is a bad habit to have so get out there and read the whole book! _____________________________________ Tag @philosophyforsuccess and use #philosophyforsuccess for a chance to be featured on the page! This book is geared more towards business than personal development from my perspective. However I believe that the lessons that you learn here are essential to becoming successful and staying motivated. The main focus of this book is to find your why. Your "why" explains what motivates you you do the things you do, it shows your true character. Why is this important? Why should you care about your why? You should care about your why because it will push you to be better. It was also draw people in that believe in the same "why". The sooner you have a why the sooner you will be on a path to success. Knowing your why will inspire greatness. It will motivate you to do the things you once thought were impossible. When people see how dedicated to you are you your cause, your why, they will believe in you. They will help push you to greatness. This is a must read for any everyone. Understanding your why will push you to do great things! _____________________________________ Tag @philosophyforsuccess and use #philosophyforsuccess for a chance to be featured on the page!
