If there was an award for sweetest office dog, Harvey might take the cake. Seriously, watch out – he can’t help himself when it comes to dessert. Just ask owner @isa.hodes about Harvey’s dance with an entire pack of #oreos. To be fair, he was very smart and strategic in getting said OREOs. And what’s a dog to do when they’ve got an Einstein mind but a puppy heart? #signaltheory#petsofsignaltheory#officedog#dogsofinsta#dogs#agencylife
Let's talk 2020 Marketing Trends Disclaimer: the photo has nothing to do with the topic. I just like it! 2019 is leaving us with so much foreshadowing for the next year when it comes to marketing. Here are some of the trends to keep an eye on for: THE FUTURE OF VIDEO IS VERTICAL Yes you heard me right. Music artists started adapting to this trend by doing vertical music videos. 90% of the time, we use our phones vertically, so it makes sense no? IT IS ALL ABOUT EXPERIENCES Companies will focus on consumer experinces more than ever! No one can sell you as well as a satisfied customer. Whether it's on social or any other media channel, real experiences are what count. GO MICRO WITH SELECTIVE MACRO Be very picky when working with Influencers. Go for quality and qualitative quantities. When working on campaigns, work with both micro and macro Influencers for more effective results. DIRECT MARKETING IS BACK Whether it's a stunt, an event, or a live promotion, do it well, be creative and it will go viral. IT'S THE TRAVEL REVOLUTION We will witness huge shifts in all travel marketing trends. Watch out for the vloggers and travel bloggers with actual BLOGS supported by great IG accounts. THE RISE AND FALL OF THE INSTA FAMOUS Many accounts will burn while others will rise. It is no longer in our control. It is all about the followers and proper content. Users are getting bored selfies and "outfits of the day" and they wise and powerful enough to make or break accounts. BEING BOLD AND RESPONSIBLE Brands will be standing out for so much goodness in 2020. They will want to be controversial, creative and big back to their community while doing that. This will be visible in their products, packages, key messages and marketing campaigns. Cannot wait to see what 2020 brings us. I know that at MODE we have lots of amazing projects, trips, events and campaigns in store x #socialmedia#marketing#pr#events#business#jordan#jo#dubai#agencylife#beirut#doha#nyc
30 days of appearing on IG Stories. 😬An impromptu experiment. That created a lot of learnings. What worked? What didnt? When was there a DROP in engagement? What content topics worked the BEST? I answer ALL of your questions (yep I even DM’d the few of you who dropped OFF the challenge and asked you all why - from fear, uncertainty of what to talk about, to not knowing how to sell without salesy). . I’ve got you guys a ☝️ one-stop-solution to building trust, CONNECTING and converting MORE via IG Stories and it is also going to be the first cab off the rank in our 3 step DIY Content Plan Series. Cause who said content planning had to be overwhelming, eh? . With a formula behind it all, and over 100 content prompts for you all to not just engage, but connect and sell, without sounding salesy... This baby? . Is scheduled for blast off 🚀 tomorrow on the WORDSHOP. Along with a WRAP UP episode on the podcast. AND YOU GUYS? Who are following me on here? And listen to the podcast? Have an uber extra special treat. So. Stay tuned.
It's funny, I thought that being in our new home just in time for Christmas was going to make it even more magical. With my crazy work schedule and Costa's crazy travel schedule, we honestly haven't spent much time together. Don't get me wrong, our tree is absolutely next level! But I realized this—it's not the house you live in, the Christmas tree that you have or even the presents (well in my case, faux wrapped presents!) you have under the tree—it's the people you are with that bring the magic. ✨ #dollspartypretty
▪️Check it off the list ✔️▪️ . . Happy Saturday Devs! After my post yesterday I took some time to organize my to-list a bit for the weekend. I use Things 3 for that. It’s a great tool and I plan on using the inbox more in the future for random tasks that I am not ready to schedule yet. Notion will be more for long term goals, project planning and future logs, habits, daily logs (maybe it will replace my bullet journal 🤷🏽♀️), and my resonance calendar (thank you @aliabdaal for that idea). Lastly, Bear is my note taking app. Oh right and then there is Google calendar. Do any of you time block? 🥴 . . Have about three tasks to complete tomorrow. One will be to plan out my certification schedule as I am on the bench for most of December and would like to complete my AWS cert as well as 1 Microsoft certification (Azure or Power Apps). Then on top of that I was hired by a local university as a consultant to help them build a coding school. Definitely will be a fun side project. To round out my December I will be finalizing the BETA launch of my app. So needless to say productivity will be of the utmost importance this month. . . Maybe if I am super productive I can squeeze in some JS learning in there too 😉. What are your favorite productivity tools? #100daysofcode

Beware of These Eight Clients, Pt. 02 by @morejanda // Just when you thought it was safe, eight more challenging clients emerged to potentially ruin your life. THE GHOST Your discovery meetings are filled with ideas and collaboration. The client is on board and ready to go! Then you send the final proposal (with the price) and *poof. They disappear. If they balk on price, it usually isn’t worth your time to play ghost hunter. THE CHANGE ORDER Everything was fine during the first discovery meeting. Then their priorities shifted, and shifted, and shifted again. A client who can’t stay focused at the start is destined to cause change order grief throughout the project. THE BROS (idea submitted by @jeremygotwals ) The bros have big vision and no experience. In their mind, the only difference between them and Elon Musk is that he is where they will be around this time next year. They fuel each others egos by complimenting their leased Audis and flat brimmed hats. THE ARROGANT FUNDED They got their seed money and wear it around like a badge of accomplishment. They still don’t have a product or customers, but the fact that they have an investor has filled their heads with delusions of grandeur. THE SIMPLER They think that everything is easy, so their budget threshold is far too small. They aren’t afraid to tell you how long it should take to make their stuff. THE YES-YES-NO Everything seems to be going well. Discovery meeting leads to proposal. Proposal leads to verbal greenlight. However, when the deposit invoice is sent, they reveal that they actually don’t have any money to start. THE CHECK IS IN THE MAIL (Idea submitted by @printedpixel ) They allegedly cut the check yesterday and dropped it in the mail. As such, they are hoping to get the first comps tomorrow. (Unfortunately, there is no check and they can’t afford stamps.) THE DENIER They don’t care what the research
