Going to see @official_ace7 on this tour was the best decision I've made. Worth every penny, the 13h outside in the cold and rain, all the travel problems, missing class, getting attacked by Sehyoon absolutely LAUNCHING Canady right at my head, not sleeping, it was all worth it. This really solidified @Official_ACE7 as my ult group. (And of course I was bias wrecked AGAIN and I'm now whipped for Yuchan 😬) Seeing them reminded me why I went back to school, why I want to work in the industry I'm in, to love myself, to be my best self and follow what I love. It was so refreshing and uplifting and meant a lot to me. I also got to meet many more excellent Choice and oh my god Choice are the sweetest humans. There was so much kindness I saw as everyone waited in line for HOURS in the cold together. So many people shared blankets and umbrellas and hand warmers and who knows what else to keep eachother safe and warm! This experience was so overwhelming in the best way. Seeing A.C.E on their first stop of the tour, so happy and proud to be back again, so full of love and energy... It was something else. I'm so proud to be a choice and to support such an incredible group of the sweetest boys ever. They prepared so much new content for us and this tour, they work so hard for us. I took part in my first sweat today, my first invitation to such a sacred ceremony. I have been working with a tribal artist, healer, roadman on my course, Ethnography of Squamish. It has been powerful, and it has also challenged all of us to confront ourselves, the bad and the good. We have to know ourselves better to create the world which the earth deserves. As soon as I got “home” my best friend and sister in vision and #everythingbutthegirl @kaymtdino, called me for some real talk. We are working together on something beautiful and great. But, I am not going to blame myself for any failure if we are not successful through this one process. So many applications written in my lifetime, how many rejections? How many times have I wondered if I just made more time, if I just researched more, if I just wrote this sentence differently, I would be successful? I am exhausted with blaming myself for bad behavior. There is plenty of it around. I am ready to face my own truth! I want to know more to live a better life. Tonight is day 0 and there are 4 more rounds to go. This is the promise. To all my ancestors, gurus and elders who have held me to this moment including my brother, @air_bendr, I send my immense love and gratitude ♥️.
