My first entry into the #holidayffa. I was so excited to be able to edit an image from one of my favorite photographers @duy.trn. Make sure to go check him out and the other photographers involved! - - - Photographer: @duy.trn Model: @jademckenzee
12.10.19 || PRACTICE GRATITUDE ✨ ____ For the first year I can remember, I’ve felt a little overwhelmed this holiday season. 🎄There’s so much to be grateful for—family, friends, a job, delicious food, health, a warm home—but I feel myself getting a little out of balance as I rush to push deliverables through before the holidays, be “on” at all of the holiday parties and outings, & feel sad remembering loved ones who won’t be with us this Christmas. It’s been a tough year to say the least, with a lot of shifts and unpredictable changes. Nearing the end of a year can be tough when you look back at the peaks and valleys that make up a year, and it’s kind of crazy how social media blurs the tragedies and messiness that is real life. But there’s so much to look forward to, and so many ways to celebrate the beauty of what we are given. We are blessed to be HERE. ____ Here are a few things that have helped me feel centered during a difficult time! I hope this helps someone too♥️ ⤵️ ____ 1️⃣ Light a candle + take deep breaths 2️⃣ Meditate and practice affirmations 3️⃣ Talk to a friend about how you feel 4️⃣ Watch a movie you love 5️⃣ Write down 5 things that you’re grateful for and vocalize them 🙌🏼✨ 6️⃣ Compliment someone 7️⃣ Go to your favorite workout class or go for a walk while listening to music 8️⃣ Practice setting boundaries 9️⃣ Ask for help when you need it 🔟 Spend quality time with loved ones ____ I hope you’re having an amazing week! What are some things that soothe you?
