Field trips. Parties at school. Christmas performances. All of these things used to give me so much guilt on what I was missing out on with my daughter. Turns out the Corporate Retail world didn’t really care too much about those things and I would have to work (or take time off - which was usually used up for vacations or staying home with a sick kid). I am very fortunate to have the opportunity to be a SAHM now and not miss out on these moments with my 2 kids - but we have to make sacrifices, as a family, in order to do that. Thus - the need for extra income and insert my online wellness gig. I support others in their health and wellness goals (along with my own) and provide my clients a community of like-minded people to support them. Bonuses are: No one is telling me that I need to spend 9-5 sitting at a desk in front of a computer. No one will tell me it’s not ok to call off work to care for my sick child. I have no idea whether this may be for you or not, but if you’ve got that nagging feeling for wanting something more out of your life - and you’re willing to start and share about your own health journey too - you owe it to yourself to explore this opportunity. You’ll never know if you don’t try..... right?

I can’t workout at home because I have little kids 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ Isn’t that the reason you SHOULD workout? To SHOW them what living a healthy lifestyle should be like? That it’s fun, and that we are grateful for an able body??? Sister, If you are using your kids as an excuse- change your mindset and your outlook, like- NOW. Let your kids join in. Use your babe as a weight. Take your time. This isn’t a race! Establish boundaries with your kids when it’s your time to exercise. But you like your ME time, right? SISTER, ME TOO!! I established fitness for ME when my kids were 3 and under. So this is pretty much all they’ve known. It took a little bit to establish it. And it wasn’t always pretty. There have been lots of interruptions, and MOMSTER showed up 🤪. And sometimes a 20 minute workout took an hour. But the point is, it gets done. It always gets done because I MADE A COMMITMENT TO MYSELF. And if I can’t keep a promise to myself then.... 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ My kids KNOW they can jump in with me, but it’s MOMMA’s time. They don’t mess with me when I workout (because MOMSTER🤷🏻♀️), and most of the time I get it done before they wake up. I’m saving time driving to and from the gym. I’m getting more time back with my family, because you better believe that when I’m 50 I WILL STILL be running @spartan races! I’ll be able to keep up with my kids! Or, they’ll have to keep up with me 🤪 This is a lifestyle sis, it’s not about being perfect or having the perfect situation or conditions. It’s about striving to progress and live up to the potential GOD CREATED YOU FOR. Stop taking your life for granted and let go of your excuses. I don’t care if you work full time or have lots of little ones. I started with 3 kids 3 and under with a full time teaching position AND coaching club volleyball. Sister, When you’re ready to start,
Getting wedding ready for my brother in law and soon to be sister in law’s wedding next month!! Love getting all dolled up and dressed up because I don’t get to do that often! . . Also love that I am getting my dress taken IN. I got measured for the dress 2 months PP and my seamstress has to take in more than 2 inches of the dress!! 😁 Amazing what hard work, dedication and a great support system can do! . . Also, shout out to @selenebridalnyc who has been altering dresses for me for the last 5 years! She did my wedding dress which was a very complex and time consuming alteration and has done multiple bridesmaid dresses for me since!! Each one has come out flawless. She’s a self made woman from Greece 🇬🇷, so hard working, and pays so much attention to detail. For all you New Yorkers, check out Selene in the East Village. She’s amazing! 🙌
Happy birthday in advance my man ❤️ This year we choose to celebrate it over a simple dinner that you have been craving to taste, to explore a new shopping mall that we haven't been to before, and to end the night with a late night movie. I wish you the very best of the best in everything that you do, and definitely to love me dearly through every bit action you do for US 🤭 Let's continue to focus & work hard for our dreams and promises towards each other!🔥 #hisbirthdayon25th#workharddreambig#wecanmakeittothetop
WHAT IS BEST TIME TO TAKE WHEY? . Is there a best time to take whey protein? And the answer is 'No' there is no rule to take Whey. . Whey protein is beneficial at any time of day, but if your goals are muscle building, you can strategize your timing to maximize results. I mostly take it just after my Workout in the morning. Sometime I also take it in the evening after coming back from office. . Post-workout is arguably the most important time to take whey protein for muscle building and recovery. During a workout, your muscles and tissues take a beating. Consuming protein directly after a workout can give your body the TLC it needs to begin the repair process. . Your body actually begins the recovery and muscle building directly after you’ve powered through a workout or strength training session. As soon as you can, try downing 20-30 grams of Whey, I am using Whey from @qnt.india. This will help replenish you while giving your body the amino acids it needs to build and repair muscle. . .
