I have been fighting this never-ending sinusy head cold for the past few days. I had intended to lift yesterday, but when I woke up feeling 300% worse I made the game-time decision to take an unplanned rest day, which I can say was a good call because this morning I woke up feeling like a semi-normal human again. I spent my day in sweats, snuggled up on the couch with some knitting and some comfy foods 😘💕 (Swipe to see the deliciousness) ❤Morning drink: @shapebynat 🍋, ginger, acv, turmeric drink 🧡Breakfast: @kelseyjfit 🎃 pancakes with a little twist...I subbed out 46g of liquid egg whites for 1 serving of @nofluffbaking powdered egg whites. It made the pancakes a bit thicker. Topped them off with @official_allamericanbutter French Toast AB 💛Lunch: zucchini egg white oats topped with 🍎 sautéed with cinnamon, chopped pecans, and @official_allamericanbutter The Big 🍎 with a cup of @criobru with a splash of @califiafarms BetterHalf Creamer and a few drops of coconut flavored @sweetleafstevia drops. Tastes just like an Almond Joy! 💚Dinner: ground turkey with @traderjoes Soyaki, wild rice cakes with almond flour and scallions, and green beans, onions, and shiitakes sautéed with garlic. 💙Dessert: shake with @bad.athletics Vanilla Cream with 🎃 puree and topped with @crazyrichards powdered pb and @bambodynutrition brownie topped with @cocoa PB 🍫 and put in the freezer for 15-20 minutes to make a yummy 🍫 shell.
Anniversary chomping | Today is my wedding anniversary, having tied the knot to @mozi78 two years ago. While we’re not back in Las Vegas to mark the occasion (probably a good job, we nearly died last time) we are spending the evening doing something lovely - hello cheese and wine. This delicious little board is from @lokiwine over in Edgbaston. Going to try some new wines and enjoy a casual evening with my beloved hubs 🥰
Okay so I’ve finally started an insta to fuel my addiction for going out for food Follow for some more sexy egg snaps like this one and for general food inspo in Glasgow ✌🏼 Today I tried Mesa for the first time - poached eggs on sourdough with chorizo, courgette rosti and chilli hollandaise - a perfect brunch. Will definitely be back to try the sandwiches too 9/10 scran ✅
Finally visited the new El Perro Negro today in Woodlands and it did not disappoint 😍 I had the breakfast bun with sausage patty, Asian glaze, fried egg, straw fries and sriracha mayo and it was unreal And I would happily drink beef marrow gravy wowee (The first) 10/10 scran ✅
RAMEN DAYO| I love a wee trip to @ramendayo on a tuesday night. It surely has to be one of the coolest looking restaurants in Glasgow....I've never been to Japan, but ramen dayo is pretty much what I imagine a street food shack right slap bang in the middle of Tokyo might look like. Last night I went for the New Wave Tokyo Style Ramen - which is a light chicken broth topped with all kinds of goodies - marinated chicken chashu, water spinach, spring onions and of course a ton of noods. To this I added some crispy fried garlic and spicy ground pork which made for genius combo. This was just a brilliant dish packed with so much depth and flavour, and such a huge portion. Bloody love these guys 😍

It's a no from me. Sorry @camillaainsworth but maybe it could have been a bad batch. I've been looking for this for a while since watching last year's apprentice but unfortunately it wasn't the best. Flavour was very lacking and it felt very watery, esleciay compared to the normal alpro milk I'm used to. I may try the strawberry cheesecake flavour as a test but don't think I'll be buying this flavour again @mylkplus
Ever since eating at @umiedinburgh, I don't think a single day has passed where I haven't thought about their sushi, especially the toro (fatty tuna). It's been 2 weeks and I'm sure I've said to Mike at least 50 times, in one way or another, that I want to go back. I pretty much bring it up in conversation whenever I can. . . 💸 Pay day: "What you buying me? How about some toro?" . . 📺 Watching TV: "You know what would be a really good snack right now? What SWEET TREATS do I have this week?😋 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Here are 6 of my QUICK & EASY sweet snacks that are all under 200 calories! 💁♀️Been snacking on all of these, and when I’m feeling for chocolate been having my Fudgy Nutella brownies ( which also happen to be under 200 cals) 😜 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🍫1)Mini protein bites. This is my 4 ingredient no bake protein balls made into smaller balls!( recipe makes a total of 48 balls instead of 12) coming in at roughly 189 calories ⭐️2)Oat crumble & yoghurt: I crumble up one of my 5 ingredient breakfast bars and eat it with 50g low fat Greek yoghurt. Coming in at around 173 calories 🍓 3)Yogi Berry smoothie: coming in at 90 calories per serve, this is the most DELICIOUS calorie friendly smoothie ever! Recipe will be posted on my YouTube video dropping later! 💛4)Dates & almonds: I chop up 1,5 medjool dates and fill them with 6 almonds! Coming in at around 142 calories for them all 🌸5)Berries & ricotta: my favorite creamy berry combo! I take 2 tbsp of ricotta and have it with 1/2 cup mixed berries! Some people may prefer honey, but I like it as it! This comes in at around 86 calories 🧡6)Pumpkin bites & nut butter: this is currently my fav snack! I slice pumpkin pieces ( around 1/2 cup) and bake it in the oven until nice and crisp ( w some oil spray & cinnamon) I then top it off with 1 tsp nut butter of choice & add a pinch of salt!
