The mind is a powerful tool. It is capable of incredible things and we don’t give it enough credit or use it to its full capacity. We can reroute it to think a certain way through pattern and practice, or make it tell our bodies how to withstand extreme cold temperatures. We can train it to forgive ourselves, to be kind to others, and to take chances. It’s a beautiful thing really. . . . #createcommune#ourplanetdaily#artofvisuals#stayandwonder#wanderout#wildernessculture#theimaged#pnwonderland#modernoutdoors#roamtheplanet#greatnorthcollective#ourcamplife#livefolk#mountainlife#thatpnwlife#exploretocreate#upknorth#cabinfolk#adventure#wildheart#bestmountainartists#pnwcollective#neverstopexploring
Frosty mornings on the Seagull River take my breath away! (Literally and figuratively) How about you? Frosty mornings or a hazy summer sunrise? ..... P.S. I know I’ve been dropping hints about a big announcement since October. I promise, this announcement is coming within the next week! 😁
To many people it seems that I travel a lot. But to be honest, most of my trips are local and I don’t get outside of Washington very much. (Just goes to show how many cool places there are in this state). I wish and I hope to travel more domestically and international in the future. When I do travel and fly, I always try to get this view. It is one that very few take advantage of and it is my favorite. ✈️🏔
Towing our cozy little home 200 miles today so that she can get a new engine. I knew it was a possibility that our van would break down at some point, but I never would have expected it to be this soon or this catastrophic haha. Being forced out of our home has made me realize just how much I love it. Everything I could ever need is in this 60 square foot oasis. We don't know what caused this or how long it's going to take to fix it, but our spirits are high and we are going to make the best of the situation. If I can offer one piece of advice to anyone who lives in their vehicle, it would be to PURCHASE THE EXTENDED WARRANTY. Without it we would be in a really bad spot😅
Two weeks away from this golden coast feels like ages now. Excited to be back in a couple of days. This was a lil shoot with @zoefortuna for @serengetee in Malibu. Traffic was really bad on the way back and it took me two hours to get home. When I finally got out of my car, I was way more inspired than when I got in. Unexpected in between space can be really lovely. It seems inconvenient sometimes, until you realize it’s an invitation for new ideas... but only when you finally settle in.

Thai elephants 🐘 are such intelligent and patient creatures that deserve to be cared for. . . I learned a lot about ethical elephant tourism practices through my own research and I’ve come to the conclusion that we still have a long way to go. Thailand has a lot of elephant sanctuaries, but they aren’t all ethical. There also aren’t many sanctuaries that allow elephants to roam free at all times because they’re destructive to farmland and crops which means they’re still chained at night. And the one thing you absolutely should not do is ride an elephant with a chair. . . So if you’re thinking about experiencing some elephant attractions in Thailand, do some research to find sanctuaries or non-sanctuaries that have good ethical practices. The experience should be good for both the elephants and you ❤️
You might need to pinch yourself when you first catch sight of this alpine village in the Salzkammergut Lake Region: it truly looks like something out of a fairytale. We’re talking dramatic wooded mountains sloping down to a crystalline lake, baroque churches and pristinely-preserved 16th century houses. 💯⭐ . 👉 Take a hike on the Echerntal trail, for views that have inspired writers and painters over the centuries, then settle into a cozy room at the Agathawirt Hotel, a country inn dating to 1517 known as a great base for hikers and bikers. 🚲🚶♂️ . . ▶️❓Have you been there? ▶️❗️Tell us your experience! ▶️✍️ Comment down here . . ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ 📍 LOCATION: Hallstatt - Austria 🇦🇹 👉 Follow us now @thehotelspecialist.it ➡️ Tag us in your photos and use #thehotelspecialist 📬 Email us [email protected] ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖
