Andrei Tarkovsky as a child with his father Arseny Tarkovsky in 1935. I just realized we’re at 2,819 followers. Why am I making a big deal for 2,819 followers? Well, allow me to explain. I started this page on August 25th, 2019. The reason being is I was worried that I would have worn out the work of Andrei Tarkovsky on my main page by continuously posting about him. So that’s when I got the idea to create a page dedicated to my love for my favorite director of all time. Then on September 14th, I asked one of my good friends who goes by @thepurecinema if he would like to be an admin on this page. He mentioned how much he loves this page so he happily accepted it and since then, I feel like this page is becoming better and better since then. My main goal with this page is to connect with everyone who also feels the same way of Andrei Tarkovsky and continue spreading love for him and his astounding body of work he’s left behind. I never thought that this page would grow the way it has for nearly two months. I hope that many more will discover Tarkovsky and his work like I did and will cherish that experience for the rest of their lives. So thank you all for liking, commenting and following. We appreciate it so much.

The artist should be an instrument to unveil what is occult from the ordinary eye, to bring out the freedom of understanding. He is a channel and a worker for the Universe". Patricia Ariel
