Are you a person that immediately stresses or complains it’s Monday or do you take Monday as an opportunity to set the tone for the rest of your week in a driven, positive and motivated way !?. . The first 20 min of your day can set the tone for the entire day! The first day of the week can set the tone for the entire week! Be sure to begin your day with AT LEAST 5 to 10 min meditating before you get up. This will help calm the mind before all the craziness starts and sets a positive vibration within you. Look over your goals for the week (write them down so you can cross them off as you accomplish them), have your meals for at least 4 days pre made (hopefully you did this on Sunday), get a workout in and then it’s GO TIME!. . There are so many physical and psychological reasons why we work out. . . ✅ Endorphins - no this is not a made up term. Endorphins are hormones produced by the nervous system to cope with pain or stress. They are often called "feel-good" chemicals because they can act as a pain reliever and happiness booster. . . ✅ Exercising improves our cardiovascular system. It can lower blood pressure, lower the risk of diabetes, and reduce inflammation. . . ✅ Yes it burns calories but that should not be your focus. This type of mindset makes exercising less fun if you’re just trying to do math in your head the whole time. . .  Remember if you’re eating a healthy diet most of the time, there is no need to workout to “burn” anything off. “I don’t want to start now...Thanksgiving is in a week.” “I can’t afford it with Christmas coming.”💸 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ That was me. I am coming up on the 2 year anniversary of when I did my very first program. It was only a week long, but it changed the course of my life. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The things that my coach poured into me that week were exactly what I needed. They were the things I had been missing and didn’t even know it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I get that it makes more sense to start in January when the rest of the world is ready to get fit, but hear me out for 1 sec. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🗣 Most success stories come from those who start WHEN IT MAKES THE LEAST SENSE. Why? Because THEY are the ones who really want the change. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Yes, most people start in January. And most people quit in February. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ You're not most people! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If I had waited to start reigning in my nutrition, I would still look like the pic on the left. What still BLOWS MY MIND is that once I really started, it didn't take me long to get to the pic on the right. All because I FINALLY grasped the concept that every little thing matters. And that the little things are easy to do. They're also easy not to do. One takes you closer to where you want to go, the other, further away. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I look in the mirror now and can’t even believe it’s me. I feel SO GOOD in my clothes. I look at my closet in a new way because everything fits now.💥 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🤩 You can have those same feelings! You can look in the mirror and be shocked at your reflection, too! I want to help you get there and cheer you on as you go for it! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Don’t wait until 2020 to start changing your life. You can start NOW and still enjoy the holidays! And I’d be willing to bet that you’ll enjoy them MORE because you have a PLAN to get

We are so quick to get our minds out of a rut and into a positive state.  But the journey is what makes you, you.  I used to want everything NOW. . . Lose 10 lbs, NOW.  Have my dream job, NOW.  Be a positive force, NOW. . . . It doesn't work that way. It may for some but it doesn't last long if you don't stop, smell the roses, appreciate the present, and do a yoga pose in the middle of he grocery store 😂☺️ . . . Each step of the way, I have noticed that if I rushed it...I wouldn't be where I am today. . . . The journey (aka the ups, downs, and all arounds) is what makes you transform. . . . Take a second today to embrace your journey, your struggles, your triumphs, your setbacks, your uncomfortable zone, your freeze in time "perfect moments" . . . This is a concept that took me awhile to not only understand but embrace . . Today is a new day, Baby steps in the right direction will grow into huge leaps! •QUICK HIIT CIRCUIT• . Don’t have a gym? No problem! I did this circuit while on thanksgiving break at the AIR BNB we stayed at. I found a 20 lb anchor *randommm but works* and a kettle bell. Work with what you have. There is always something! You just have to want it enough . ✨5 ROUNDS✨ 12-15 Step Ups with same leg (make sure to do both legs) 8-15 Elevated Push Ups 5-12 Assisted Pistol Sqauts (each leg) 10-15 KB Squat 10-15 Weighted overhead lunges (each leg) . GIVE THIS CIRCUIT A TRY! Obviously, like always, adjust the rep count to youuuuur ability☺️
I’m not sure what’s worse, not having an appetite and trying to force yourself to eat or having ravenous hunger that feels like your stomach is eating itself. Cause I’ve experienced both 😂. ⁣ ⁣ Still not feeling 💯😭 but I’ve still been hitting the gym and it honestly makes me feel so much better. A good #sweatsesh is the best kind of therapy for me 🙌🏽
