After a few days exploring Ljubljana, we cycled onwards to Lake Bled. We followed little red cycle signs all the way, the route taking us through small, quiet villages and towns. We also saw a few vending machines selling local, dairy products.
We crossed into Slovenia in the pouring rain. Fortunately, we had an amazing @warmshowers_org stay lined up in Crnomelj. We stayed for two nights and were welcomed like family. We were shown around Justina and Joze's beautiful smallholding and fed only homegrown food. We were not allowed to help with anything!
#osebnitrener#kolesarjenje
For a region of people notoriously proud of their home county, the Yorkshire folk have been hugely supportive of all riders from every nation so far at @yorkshire2019 - it’s been so nice to see in comparison to some other sports. Here @primozroglic gets a warm welcome.
