Not the best workout but we got in there and got it done🙌🏼 It’s alright, you’re not going to be crazy motivated every single day but it’s just important to get in there and get it done to best of your ability👏🏼
I walked in the gym this morning & turned right back around.. I woke up with a bad mindset, very bad body image, & the time of the month decided to roll in. - I did not feel good at all, but my thought was “if you sit all day you will get fat.” “You need to try and burn as many calories as you can at the gym today” & a lot more negative ones than positive ones. - So, I drove to the gym... had a good lil cry in my car (I’m very dramatic but that’s okay) and tried to walk in. - I was about to hit shoulders (my fav), but I wasn’t excited about it like I usually am.. - so, I stopped everything and walked out. & THATS COMPLETELY OKAY!! - Rest is very essential! I’d rather have a pumped up workout rather than half doing it! I put my needs first and prioritized rest! - the point of this post is : 🌟 You don’t have to earn your food by working out. 🌟 Working out should be mindful & not punishment. 🌟 We all have rough days 🌟 You won’t lose all progress from one day. 🌟 Put yourself, and your needs first!
Sunday’s are the best day to workout 🏋🏽♂️ Do you train or rest over the weekend? #startnow - We are at a sticking point in the year for most, Christmas is just around the corner and motivation to workout can be low 😫 BUT why is this? We can be our own worse enemy! Don’t convince yourself it’s time to slow down and wait till January comes and you start with the “new year new me” bullsh*t 👀 Start NOW and don’t stop! Remember starting and stopping working out is as bad as a yo-yo diet, keep it consistent. You will be thanking yourself when you are mid January and your not having to work off those mince pies 🥧🔥 - #championsneverquit
•It Doesn’t Take A Genius - A Quick Read• . . . . The next few posts till the year end is pretty much going to be a wrap up of certain things. . The good. The bad. The ugly. . You see, the year thus far has been quite brutal. . I tried things that I have only dreamt of before. I failed pretty much most of them with no comebacks or resorts. . But I guess, that has been the sheer beauty of 2k19 for me so far. . Yes, any big or small move has an equal amount of risk associated with it but it doesn’t take a genius. . It doesn’t take a genius to try ‘them’, experiment ‘them’ and give ‘them’ a run for it’s money. . A fair bit of self awareness sure helps. . But you definitely don’t have to be a genius.. . And you most definitely can’t have all the answers. . Step out. Get your hands dirty. Learn, experience and make a sound call. . A call to your current sound potential by agreeing to the fact that, you don’t need to know the right or the wrong. . Make it a small part of your 2020 dear gents. You’ll be quite surprised. . Not soon, not early in the year but sure as hell by the December 2020. . Good luck! . #mayankbhattacharya#mensessentials#tmbbasics
