TXA administration in conjunction with blood transfusion increases survival in hemorrhagic shock. ♠ The TCCC treatment algorithm is the standard of care for medical personnel in the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and calls for the administration of TXA for casualties expected to receive blood transfusions. ♠ Prehospital TXA was administered to 4.2% of casualties receiving blood transfusions. Possible reasons for this low compliance include: 🔎 About 60% of the military has completed a TCCC course based on current TCCC guidelines and taught to sufficient depth. 🔎 Current TXA administration guidelines recommend infusing 1g of TXA over 10 minutes despite there being little evidence of harm caused by faster administration. 🔎 Poor prehospital documentation may conceal higher rates of administration. I’m reading this book at work today about transhumanism & the people in it literally want to become human birds. Personally I’m fine as I am lol but wow, this is so interesting. As a kid I always wanted the superpower of flight but I think I’d pick something better now. Anyways there’s a ton of philosophy about this in literature.. ‘I want to fly!’ cries Icarus in the labyrinth. ‘And so you shall,’ says Daedalus, his father, the inventor. It’s an old story, but we’re still in it, playing our parts. We have always envied birds their wings. From angels to superheroes, avian-human hybrids have been present in myth, legend and art. There is great progress in the field of biotechnology which promises to make us stronger, smarter and fitter, with sharper senses and more capable minds and bodies. A huge progression scientifically the gene-editing tool CRISPR, derived from bacterial immune systems, to rewrite genetic code with far greater speed and precision. The future is going to be crazy!. In simple terms, CRISPR pinpoints a target sequence of DNA on a gene, uses a bacterial enzyme to snip out the sequence, and then splices a new sequence in its place. The inserted genetic material doesn’t have to come from the same species. Scientists can mix and match bits of DNA from different species, creating real-life chimeras.one of the foremost proponents of radical human enhancement w/ the idea of expanding ‘human potential’, giving individuals greater freedom ‘to shape themselves and their lives. I’m actually not sure if this is going to be a good thing for humanity however if people decide to use the technology to treat diseases etc rather than anything sinister it could potentially be an extraordinary positive thing from a medical standpoint.
DHEA prohormones are pretty common place now. This one is 4-Androsterone, commonly called 4-DHEA. 4-DHEA takes advantage if certain modifications to regular DHEA and gambles on it being forced down a certain pathway to become a true hormone. In this case it is the steroid testosterone. _ 4-DHEA has the double bond we need between 4-5 of the A ring of testosterone. The two main enzymes involved in getting us to the final molecule are 3B-HSD and 17B-HSD. These just change ends of the molecule to get our testosterone. In this case we want 4-DHEA to become Testosterone, so we need to have the 3-hydroxyl group to become a 3-keto and the 17-keto to become a 17-hydroxyl group. The enzymes mentioned above do just that. Theoretically in two reactions we would get our testosterone. ➖ While this is a clever way to get some testosterone into your system this is far from bullet proof. The results for this are extremely mild, to the point a lot of people say they don't notice much. This is due to genetic variations and how well each person converts this in the body, because metabolism can vary by large degrees. I know some that say this changed their life and others that saw nothing at all ➖ The science behind it though is clever and with better delivery systems they do work a bit more reliably than like 8 years ago. Don't expect it to be a potent oral steroid but I would gamble on it being a noticable bump. The science is, on paper, pretty sound. You'd probably want to run this with all of the support items you would any other oral steroid, though I wouldn't expect the side effects to be even close to as bad. Always be cautious of anything you do, legal or not. Maybe throw arimistane or other estrogen considerations at this, because if it does become test, it will for sure go down to Estrogen too. ➖ Hi-tech I think is the only company using a viable delivery method btw. So one of the 4.9e^12 companies they manufacture for should serve you well!

The soil on the left is the result of regenerative agriculture where sheep and beef cattle were carefully managed and rotated on the land. They ate grass, deposited their urine and dung and were then moved away to let the grass grow back quickly. This allows the pulling of carbon into the soil. It's darker because carbon from the atmosphere is now in the soil. The soil on the right is from a farm that grows grain and uses no animals on the land.
