This is one of those photos that brings back so many memories for me. This was my first time going to this part of Canada, first time traveling outside of US borders alone, and first time visiting this lake with not a soul to be seen. If you have been to lake moraine you know how many people flock to its shores. On this evening however, I was the only person I could see. The sun had set and I sat and just took in the view. I’ll never forget this day. __________________________________________ ➣ In other news, it is currently 85 and sunny here in Maui and @tiffanylaurenthomas and I have already had a ton of fun and have gotten some incredible shots.. I cannot wait to share some with you soon. Gimme a few days and you’ll start seeing some stuff from our trip 🤘🏻.
The -20C photo! My first time experiencing such an extreme cold! It gets into your bones and every bit of your body that is uncovered hurts like a burn! For the past 2 days since my arrival my car has not been turning on because of the cold adding to being stopped for almost a month so it was completely frozen when I got here ! Thankfully it worked today, since the temperatures came close to 0C.

79% of people surveyed in my stories said they’ve yet to experience a tiny house- so I’m thrilled to share our experience. . . We arrived to the @getawayhouse house outside of Portland late on a Saturday afternoon. The drive out to the house (actually located in Washington) is along the Columbia River Gorge Scenic Drive (so lots of waterfalls and hikes, if you’d like to break up the two hour drive). There are also a few breweries right before you head into Washington and it’s a good spot to stop and stretch the legs or grab lunch before continuing on. We made sure to bring all our food- stopping for chili fix-ins and pancake batter (but I wish we had planned ahead more and crafted something from @freshoffthegrid - Megan and Mike’s recipes are sooo good and camping friendly). We were expected to get a lot of snow, so we made smores the first night and then slept in with all the ❄️ around us. Our house had a bunk bed for 2 other people which worked out perfect for Augustine to play around on after dark. The next morning we built a snowman, made snow angels and ate pancakes in bed. It was pretty perfect. Let me know if you have any questions about @getawayhouse and if you’d like to test one yourself (they have locations all across the country, you can use JADE25 to get $25 dollars off each booking. 🥳
