@afordynamo has been my longest standing client. He had a bad back issue about a year ago so training had to change.  Since then he has been super consistent with his training and seen the benefits by losing 15 pounds and gaining muscle back! Our focus right now is building aerobic threshold and overall strength.  This workout combines easy to moderate intensity aerobic work with hypertrophy work.  The idea behind this is to increase respiration and blood flow from the cyclical work to further enhance the benefits of the hypertrophy work.  If you are interested in a well thought out program like this DM us and we can get you started!  15 minute assault bike @200-250 watts, every 5 minutes you will hit a set of bench press. For the bench, use the following directions: Take 90% of your 1RM and use that as your training max. The following % will be based off of your training max: 65% x 5 reps 75% x 5 reps 85% x 5+ reps *Last set is an AMRAP set. Sep 27th➑️Oct 23rd Left-Higher on the pain scale Right-Just feeling a stretch - Going from being a National Champion in soccer, to having a severe hip injury, Todd has had 3 hip surgeries (including a hip replacement) and has unfortunately gained extra weight from the inability to be as active. - He has become determined to battle back from this obstacle in his health and fitness journey, and is already making amazing progress. - Movements are improving dramatically, not noticing as much aching during his work hours and being on his feet, PLUS is already down right around 8 pounds this month! - So proud of you man! How do you start your weightloss journey? Stop making excuses for yourself and do it! It's been 652 days since I started my journey and nearly half of me is gone. The trick? There is none. No magic pill, starvation, or shortcuts. All hard work, CONSISTENCY, and PATIENCE. Have I been perfect? No. Have I gone on vacation a few times, lived a little by eating not as healthy foods, and gained a few pounds? Of course! But the key is getting back on track. I promise, those pounds gained will melt right off and you can continue on your journey. You just have to make the decision. There is a learning curve.
