Injured? That doesn’t stop a beast like Caiden. And it doesn’t stop our trainers from helping people like him continue working out. They are experts at offering alternative exercises for anyone with injuries or other limitations. From kids busting elbows in dirt bike accidents to adults twisting ankles in tennis games. We’ve seen it. We’ve worked around it. We’ve kept people making progress while they heal. Keep it up Caiden! You’ll be back on that bike soon, stronger than ever.
@afordynamo has been my longest standing client. He had a bad back issue about a year ago so training had to change. Since then he has been super consistent with his training and seen the benefits by losing 15 pounds and gaining muscle back! Our focus right now is building aerobic threshold and overall strength. This workout combines easy to moderate intensity aerobic work with hypertrophy work. The idea behind this is to increase respiration and blood flow from the cyclical work to further enhance the benefits of the hypertrophy work. In this chapter of my life, my mantra is to get over it or get under it. A lot of movement. A lot of letting go. Always learning. Always chasing. Working out to me is a religious movement - it cures all and if you’re feeling in a hole or a dark place, I challenge you to get out of your head and into your body. Get over it or get under it.
Nothing quite like bday burpees! Thanks for being an awesome boss and all round good human @sweetasmel. For the record I had to interject after the hug otherwise she would've tried to slink out of the set 😝
