I spent a good 1/2 of tonight “manufacturing” a new look for myself. my mom would be so proud of me. I’m learning how to be a little less ...... “needy” when it comes to certain things. and to think I would say - outloud - that I am so NOT creative. just goes to show you when you speak something outloud you actually start to believe it. so glad I decided to be a little bit more positive 😉. my tutuorial on how I turned this banded sweat shirt into a crop will be on my you tube channel this week. I hope you’re subscribed to it! Xx A #imsofancy#growthgamestrong

I love bringing designs to life. My youngest asked me to make him a jacket shirt and picked out this beautiful teal and grey double face wool. Perfect for a New England fall day🍁🍂 #design#patternmaking#fashion#fashiondesign#mensfashio#jacket#wool#doubleface#wooljacket#oneofakind#sewing#stitch#textile#fabric#atelier#fall#newengland

So I'm starting a new "project" of sorts. I am going to be setting aside one hour every weekday after work to draw and weekends will be free-for-all. I am going to be lenient with myself, but I want to complete one page a week. It's a 8x6 book. . So, I've been extremely inspired by these tangles for a while now. For each page I'm using a random letter and number generator and using that to select my base tangle on www.zentanglepatterns.com . Then filling in from there! If you havent heard of Zentangle(r) you should check it out! It's extremely calming and satisfying. The best part is even if you think you can't draw, you can make tangles. I absolutely love the idea of using art as a form of meditation such as when creating a mandala, and tangles provide me with a more fluid, unplanned, and rewarding way to get the same kind of results. . What are your thoughts on meditation and art? I'd love to hear from other points of view! . . . #tangleart#zentangle#tangled#tangleaday#pattern#patternmaking#create#draw#art#instaartist#instaarts
Jedi knights must love the heat lolz. Just tried on the first 3 Peice's of my Jedi knights outfit to see if I the fit was right and OMG was it HOT! How did they wear all that. Any way still working it and I might need to remake the bottom layer as it's not laying right. But so far it's going good. Hoping it gets cooler soon lolz.
Formal dress was designed and sewed for my year 11 formal. This design was made from pure silk in cobalt blue. A cropped strapless top with an adjustable back was made that can be adjusted with the bows at the back. A long pleated skirt with an invisible zip was added for an adjusted and tight effect. Whole outfit was accessorised with rose gold jewellery to compliment the cobalt blue colour 💛💙
My pants are technically done. Trying to decide if I have the energy to put in a few last details. I still have to put together the "project" part of the assignment but I finished the construction last night. Now it's all the write ups and such.
