So a lot of you know me for my braids but little do you know that I have a lion’s mane underneath all of these braids! Lol 💕 💕 💕 I have been natural for at least 2-3 years now and I made the transition when I felt my hair stopped growing and I wanted to grow out my hair. So one day I went to a hair salon that specializes in African American hair and asked the hair stylist to chop off all my relaxed hair. I tried all different types of hair styles. I tried crotchet which would get matted so quickly, weave which I might as well have my hair out, wigs, which is cute but still you have to take care of it etc but nothing I felt was more perfect than braids for me. I am an up and go type of girl I don’t like doing my hair nor do I like taking excessive amount of time on my hair. Reason being is my schedule is chaotic and braids cut my morning routine by more than half. Also there are so many different hair styles I can do with braids. However, I will never forget my natural hair or natural beauty because every time I take out my braids I get more and more surprised on how much it grew.. I love my hair regardless of the fact that I wear braids plus my hair is thick as hell. If you would like me to post more about natural hair or my journey or what hair products I use to grow this length let me know in the comments .. Love you guys and embrace your natural beauty💋 TAG A FRIEND WITH NATURAL HAIR 👇🏼👇🏼
Got a few questions on my most important beauty tips, and there are few that I've been implementing for most of my life Starting with: ➡️ no smoking It makes your skin dull with age, speeds up the skin aging ➡️ limited alcohol It dehydrates your skin, which we are all trying so hard to moisturize ➡️ wear sunglasses outside My eyes are very sensitive to light, therefore I wear sunglasses even on a cloudy day. Otherwise I would be squinting, causing eye wrinklkes 😣 ➡️ watch your facial expressions Keeping your facial expressions relaxed is a big one. Doing this ☹😕 leads to mouth lines and drooping, and this 😬 to frown lines. Read my post on "facial tension and wrinkles" to find out more ➡️don't overscrub and over clean your face with harsh scrubs and soaps. ➡️don't tan As much as we want to have great tan, which looks great in your 20s, but it will bite you in your 40s for sure. ➡️use LESS products This is a big one too, let your skin breath and read my post "Skin Detox" Now, please share with me your must know beauty secrets 💋
