Note to self... I deserve self care. I believe in myself. I am worthy. • This trip to Austin with @michelobultra was more than just sweating. It really allowed me to focus on my wellness + spiritual self. Those who know me, know I’m ALWAYS on the go. Training for this, running for that, and working long ass hours. I realized, fitness is more than working out. It’s truly about taking time for yourself and overall wellness ✨ • I had my first reiki session with a beautiful soul, Lauren. At first I wasn’t sure what to expect. And when she cleared my chakras and revealed my cards, I was a believer. And when Lauren revealed my tarot cards they were Manifestation + Rest. She even brought up my great grandmother on my Mom’s side, Rose Marie. I was floored. She had my attention. And my dear Rose had a few things she needed me to hear ✨manifest your dreams as they are coming true ✨and to learn to rest I was in tears. As these are obviously areas I’ve been thinking about. I’ve had this pain in my chest the last few months, and it was gone. To stop letting my mind distract me, and to just continue on this path of inspiring others to be their best self • I have a very hard time turning my mind off. And taking moments to meditate, breathe + just be are so important. To let go of things that don’t serve me, and focus on areas where I can make the most impact. For once, I have a clear vision. This week I found myself in a few situations where I didn’t feel like belonged. The first was at the Michelob event where I was surrounded by some of the best in the fitness industry, people I have admired for years. “How am I here, sharing space with THESE people?!” But it was at the event that @justtrain reminded me, IF YOU’RE IN THE ROOM, YOU BELONG IN THE MF ROOM. The second situation was yesterday when my boss asked me to share my ideas in a meeting with the president of our Fortune 100 company. Initial reaction? “You want ME to do WHAT?!” But then I realized this moment was a test to live into @justtrain s message. CHALLENGE ACCEPTED. Next time that voice in your head starts telling you that you don’t belong, remember LUCK is NOT what got you here, that is self doubt talking. You EARNED your way to this table, so ACT LIKE IT. Get out of your head, because these are the opportunities that will change your life if you take advantage. 💫 ^in case you needed the same pep talk I did 💕

This week I'M COACHING Instagram Sales Strategy at a Mastermind retreat for female entrepreneurs, in the most gorgeous home in the sunset cliff's of San Diego! 🤯 #pinchme My point? Keep working your ass off and do YOU. Screw the voices in your head of self doubt and comparison. Still dreaming of this moment - horseback riding in Austin! 🐴 There’s no way I could go all the way to Texas and not experience this! My first time riding, and I was really nervous. Pushed myself to go and it was SO freeing to just focus on the surroundings and listen to the steps and sounds of the horses. I definitely made friends with Smokey and he was the best horse! I did something out of my comfort zone and SO new.... And I LOVED it! • We truly grow as humans by pushing ourselves to new places and experiences. This is Gus. Gus was a rescue, I can relate. . . This weekend, was of great offering, it was also of depth and discomfort too. Both necessary for growth. . . I put myself in positions that challenged my self narratives, belief systems and invited possibility for growth. Small moves like sitting down for dinner with people that I don’t know, or grooming the feet of Gus who is far bigger than myself. . . Throughout it all, my breath was there. Yes, you read right, my breath. . . Those moments that felt just scary enough to feel my anxiety rise, I breathed. Long and Deeper on the outs. Ensuring my nervous system, you are safe, you are here. Let’s relearn how it is to feel safe. . . Our mind will chime in, on the ways we can get out, the ways that look safer, but finding safety in our body is perhaps the most important and meaningful step we can take to find security and home in our body. . . I would revisit my breath. I rediscovered that I’m not about to it play small, not unlike Gus. And on our final trail ride, I felt his chest open, and he let out the most beautiful sigh. . . It was a weekend that was defined by camaraderie, a reunion of old friends, and new friendships forged. The name of the game today is ‘experience.’’ And @michelobultra crushed that game in Austin, Texas for me and over 300 other fitness professionals. I got to meet women like @kaisafit who I have respected from afar for years to a reunion with @christmasabbott who stole my heart years ago with a talk at @solacenewyork which inspired me to create an entire event around her with my Squad the following year. My heart soared to see @davedurante and @sadieann where catchups were soul filling and tips on handstand were absorbed! I was inspired by the legit straight talking badasses like @hollywoodhino who not only taught us killer boxing tips, but gave us inspirational phrases that legit make me laugh: “I have always wanted 6-pack abs” and “don’t stand in the way of my greatness” Then, there is @ashleyguarrasi who is about the sweetest human you will meet with a 1-2 punch that will have you in awe! The panels empowered, the pool party was one that will never be forgotten (@j_fit4life_ ) and the moments made will always be etched into my memory. Thank you to my man, the man, and everybody’s buddy @kennysantucci and the incredibly smart and lovely @alexandra_blodgett for a weekend that will be talked about for some time to come! An informative mobility workshop at the @michelobultra #movementbymichelobultra event. . As a trainer it’s important to realize that everyone’s body is different! Something that works for you may not work for the person next to you.. . @vinnierehab helped us to better assess clients and their static posture. When you can correct the imbalances of someone’s posture, you can help them properly distribute weight throughout their body when lifting and get them functioning at a higher level. I just came home from an unbelievable weekend. I was surrounded by incredible and like minded individuals who inspired me more than I can express in words. To learn and connect with people who are so passionate about wellness and wanting to see positive change in the world 🌎 fuelled my soul. We laughed, crushed some intense workouts, cleared our minds, enjoyed some incredible yoga classes, made new connections and created space for creativity. One of my largest take-home messages from this weekend was to to stay true to our vision, share the love and live our truth. How bout those arms?! . 5 Rounds 1) Handstand Hold (15 Seconds) -using the wall for support with back facing -scaling option: Downward Dog or Box HS . 2) Arms Overhead Hold (15 Seconds) -in a standing position -arms shoulder width apart. Elbows locked and feet together. Mimic handstand position . 3) Side Arm Raises (30 Seconds) -Active Recovery - Slow, Continuous Movement (No Stopping) - Elbows locked. - Start with arms by sides and raise arms overhead to a position with hands shoulder width. Bring arms back to sides and repeat action for full 30 sec. . *No rest between reps or rounds *Total Time: 5 minutes . I can not say enough about this past weekend. I fill so rejuvenated!!! The experience truly was more than I expected !!! I met some unbelievable human beings and I now call them friends. I now know the Importance of finding your tribe. I took some amazing classes from the best trainers and studios in the nation. Most importantly, I found my voice again.
