My favourite day of the week! Love setting myself new goals each week to keep me focused! Most important thing is that i always make sure that my goals are achievable! The way i used to set goals i was setting myself up for failure everytime. Such as, i want to lose this much weight, then when it came to weighing myself and i didnt make that number.... my mood changed and the whole day went downhill. Or im not going to eat that item of food, as soon as i said that... trigger! I wanted to eat that food and the more i tried to restrict the worse it got. Same as when someone says dont press the big red button... you want to press it! Or i would be so set on having to do this thing at this time and everything had to run smoothly, no plans could be changed, everything had to be scheduled down to the second, down to the gram, measurements, weight everything had to go right, must stick to plan, must train, etc etc.... it never did go to plan, things change, things go wrong, trying to plan that perfect week will be anything but the perfect week! So always remember when setting goals, you are not setting yourself up to feel like crap! 💩 For example this week is to get my steps up, maybe add on an extra 5k, do that 3-4 days. 🏃♀️Add an extra 1-2kg onto one of my supersets.🏋️♀️Drink an extra litre of water or more herbal teas. 🍵Take a night off, where i spend time doing a bit of self care or a movie night. Put my feet up, take it easy, relax... you are allowed to do that! Its ok to chill! The world wont end! 💆♀️ All those little goals i know i can achieve and they make me feel good about myself. You can so easily get lost, trying to please everyone else, trying to have everything run smoothly 24/7, trying to fix problems, you forget about yourself! Time runs away from you and before you know it, you have burnt yourself out, you feel like you are carrying the world on your shoulders and you're having a mental breakdown over a piece of

I woke up this morning really wanting to be in a place like this. - However, it’s rainy and gloomy and 47 degrees Fahrenheit. But something is coming. Something GOOD! I don’t know what, but something. So it’s a beach in my head. My head is screwed on straight and my eyes are open. - How’s your attitude this Monday morning? - - #mentalhealth#beach#vacation#monday#ocean#waves#mn#cold#fall#leaves#mentality
Camping wasn’t perfect but it WAS amazing. The first night was below freezing, two of my pieces of clothing broke (zippers), I forgot my coat, Indy was restless all night...throughout the trip, one kid peed their pants relentlessly, we struggled to have enough wood, and on and on...but we celebrated each other, we said sorry, we worked together, we laughed a lot, we cooked hotdogs and s’mores, we snuggled and the list continues. We’re things perfect? Not even close! But open communication, self love, loving each other, and choosing joy regardless made ALL the difference. #camping#selflove#family#fall#october#selflovecoach#love#mentalhealth#momlife#motherhood
TIME. What kind of relationship do you have with time? Do you take time for granted? Do you value your time? Do you feel anxiously attached to time? Are you mindful with your time? Freddie Mercury seemed to have a pretty romantic relationship with time during his last years. @freddiemercury @brianmayforreal #art#artist#artwork#abstractart#freddiemercury#queen#drawing
I’m so in love with H O M E. West Virginia man, isn’t it just great? • • • Sadly, I never realized just how beautiful it really was until the Lord blessed me with the chance to experience living somewhere else completely different. • • • When I come home for visits, I can’t get enough of the backroads, gorgeous views, and family time. Gimme all the hillbillly-ness!
