Pretty sure my cauliflower consumption has surpassed that of every other vegetable at this point, but there’s no shame in that game — especially when we’re talking about creamy cauliflower mash (with optional but encouraged melted ghee swoon) because it’s 👏🏻 just 👏🏻 so 👏🏻good 👏🏻 - whatsonmyplate: HONEY GARLIC CHIPOTLE SALMON: 1) in a bowl, combine 1 tbsp. honey + 1/4 tsp. chipotle chili powder + 1 tbsp. melted ghee or butter + a pinch or salt + a pinch of pepper. Spread evenly over two 4-6 oz. wild salmon filets (you can easily double this to serve four). 2) in a pan, heat 1 tsp. ghee or oil for a minute; add salmon filets, skin side up, and sear for 3 mins.; flip, and cook an additional 3-4 mins. •• CREAMY CAULIFLOWER MASH 🍚 (recipe in story highlights) •• grilled broccolini 🥦. How do you amp up your bowl 🥗 meals? Our advice? Keep👏it👏simple👏! Check out our tips and grab the recipe for our Falafel Bowl below!  1️⃣First, start with a VEGGIE base - 2 cups greens of choice + 2-3 favorite non starchy veggie toppers  2️⃣Next, add a preferred PROTEIN + STARCHY veggie/carb - sometimes these are found in the same foods (like beans/legumes)  3️⃣Lastly add some FATS & FUN like cheese, dressing, nuts/seeds, and olives. Think of these as a garnish. .  Bowl dEats: •2 cups mixed greens •bell pepper strips (roughly 1/2 pepper) •1 Persian cucumber, sliced •3 @traderjoes falafel, baked according to instructions •1/3 cup couscous cooked with red onion and yellow pepper •2 tbsp crumbled feta •2 tbsp @traderjoes feta dressing  Directions: Prepare falafel according to instructions. While falafel bakes, sauté some red onion and bell pepper until tender, add couscous and water and simmer until couscous is fluffy and water is absorbed. Add all ingredients to a bowl and enjoy!

There are certain foods that I love and I’ll let you guys know, but heavy cream, butter (grass fed), cheese, veggies, eggs, cream cheese and sour cream... buy what you find and fits in your budget. Costco membership isn’t necessary either. I can find most of these items at a local market😉⁠ .⁠ Most of these foods are keto basics. You might want to stay away from nuts and nut butters when you’re first starting keto.⁠ .⁠ Stick to actual meals vs snacks.⁠ .⁠ Half & half can be used for coffee and in place of heavy cream in a lot of recipes. Heavy cream works too, but it’s more expensive and has more than double the calories. Both work 🙌⁠ .⁠ Cheese - you can buy the block and shred hourself. I buy the pre-shredded because it makes my life easier. Do what works for you🤗⁠ .⁠ Avocado oil has a high smoking point so it’s my oil of choice but coconut oil works great too💃 Olive oil shouldn’t be heated too high, so I don’t use to cook with high heat. PESTO CAULI GNOCCHI, seared scallops + shrimp, broccoli and baby bella 🤩There’s nothing quite like a home cooked meal, right? Have a good evening guys ❤️ . .  @traderjoes cauliflower gnocchi (Drizzle a bit of @primalkitchenfoods avocado oil on a pan, I use @tfalusa nonstick sapphire pan, then cook gnocchi on medium to high heat for 1-2 minutes or until crispy. Add a few tablespoons of water, cover with a lid and cook 6-8 minutes. Once done cooking, toss in a little pesto (recipe a few posts back), nutritional yeast + pepper. Serve with wild seared scallops and shrimp seasoned with @primalpalate garlic & herb seasoning, chili pepper + freshly squeezed lemon. Pair with steamed broccoli and sauteed baby Bella. Enjoy!#foodfuly. . If right now the thought of meal prepping makes you feel like my face in this first pic, by the end of this post you will feel more like the last pic. Get ready. ⁣ ⁣ You first might be saying - “Jenna, it’s Monday why wouldn’t you share this on meal prep day!? Aka Sunday?!” -And my answer is this, just like goals, something like cooking and preparing food does not need to happen on one specific day. So if that is something that is holding you back, flip that mindset starting now. ⁣ ⁣ Personally, I see a lot of people have the wrong idea about what “meal prep” is. We hear that word and think hours of cooking, leading to black plastic containers stacked and labeled in our fridges ready to pull out, reheat + eat 3x’s per day. The containers have rice, chicken, broccoli + some hot sauce if we’re lucky. ⁣ ⁣ And if that is what your “meal prep” is - then I know why you hate it! ⁣ ⁣ But here’s the thing. It SHOULD NOT BE THAT WAY.⁣ ⁣ Meal prep should:⁣ ✨BE FUN! And not take hours, in fact - time yourself, give it 1 hour (even while you are cooking lunch or dinner!) and see how much you can accomplish (last night we meal prepped as a date night, drank wine, listened to music + had FUN while making food for the week + for dinner - TRY THIS.) ⁣ ✨Save you TIME. Whatever you can do in that 1 hour will save you HOURS of preparing during the week. WIN.⁣ ✨Save you STRESS. Stressing over what to eat is not a stress I have time for in my life -how about you?⁣ ✨MAKE YOU EXCITED - when I prep I cannot wait for the meals I get to eat. ⁣ ✨Make you HAPPY - the happy factor of meals is connected to satiety. 𝗜𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 2 Large Cauliflower Sea salt and pepper, to taste  𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗰𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗶 𝗦𝗮𝘂𝗰𝗲 1 Red Chili finely chopped 4 Garlic Cloves chopped ½ Cup White Wine Vinegar 1 Tsp Sea Salt or to taste ½ Cup Cilantro Finely Chopped ¼ Cup Flat-leaf Parsley finely chopped 2 Tbsp Oregano finely chopped ½ Cup Extra-virgin Olive Oil  𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 Combine all the ingredients for Chimichurri sauce in a medium bowl. Let it sit at least 15 minutes for the flavors to meld. Meanwhile, prep the cauliflower steaks. Remove and discard leaves from each cauliflower head, then trim the stem but not all the way through. Try to leave the core intact. Slice each cauliflower into 3/4" thick steaks. Reserve any loose florets to cook with the steaks or for another recipe. Brush the cauliflower steaks generously with Chimichurri sauce on both sides. Reserve some of the sauce for later. Heat a grill or a grill pan to medium. Place the cauliflowers onto the grill and cook until tender and charred in spots, about 5-7 minutes per side. Serve cauliflower steaks with extra Chimichurri and enjoy! . ✖️DRY FRUIT LADDOOS✖️⁣ ⁣ Mala, my mom, has finally joined me in my recipe page. She supports me 100% with my calorie counting and so now we are working together in the kitchen making yummy food⁣ ⁣ Like this one! The dry fruit laddoo! ⁣ (Laddoo is Indian sweet dish that usually is like a rolled up ball of sugar! Indians love it and I think anyone who loves sweet would kill for it! )⁣ ⁣ Calories per DFL (if you make 25): 115⁣ Carbs: 10g⁣ Protein: 2g⁣ Fats: 9g⁣ ⁣ I love it because ⁣ ✔️easily available ingredients⁣ ✔️ really yummy ⁣ ✔️ takes care of the sweet tooth cravings⁣ ✔️ make in advance and enjoy it with your afternoon tea/coffee⁣ ⁣ What you need⁣ ▪️Cashews 70g⁣ ▪️Almonds 60g⁣ ▪️Walnuts 60g⁣ ▪️Pistachios 60g⁣ ▪️Dried Cranberries 60g⁣ ▪️Grated Coconut, Fresh - 150g⁣ ▪️Agave- 8TBSPs⁣ ▪️ Ghee - 30g⁣ ▪️Ginger Powder - 3TBSPS⁣ ▪️ Pepper to taste ⁣ ⁣ Method⁣ ▫️Low flame, on a pan, add half the Ghee and first add the almonds and cashews and fry it till it’s crisp, not brown! ⁣ ▫️Add in the walnuts and pistachios and again crisp it..and finally the cranberries at the end⁣ ▫️Empty your pan and now add remainder ghee in which you will add all the grated coconut and the ginger and the pepper and cook it in medium flame for about 2 mins⁣ ▫️Add the agave and the nuts into the coconut mix and then really mix it up. The consistency at the end is sticky. Mix them together 2-3 mins medium flame⁣ ▫️Let it cool down.
