Seasons change and so can we 🍂 Adopting a healthier lifestyle requires fundamental change to several aspects of your life ➡️ I'm not talking about a fad diet (which by the way DO NOT WORK LONG TERM) or a gimmick exercise program 🚫 To become a healthier, stronger, leaner person for the LONG TERM (and leave the yo-yo pattern of weight loss behind you), you'll have to commit to behavioral changes AND dietary changes. This isn't as daunting as it sounds! 😀 Start with 2 healthy habit changes you can commit to and build from there (anyone can commit to 2 things they can do differently to improve the quality of their life!) For example ⬇️⬇️ • • Hydration 👉 Cut out the sodas and juices and commit to drinking WATER...1 gallon of it daily 💧 This sounds tough but it can be done! Everytime you take a drink of water, chug it for 15 gulps. Do that periodically throughout day and you'll hit a gallon in no time 👍 • • Start Steppin' 👉 Aim to get 10,000 steps DAILY. Not sure how many steps you take? Get a watch, a pedometer or use your phone! • • There is no time like the present to start creating a healthier you ❤ Happy #firstdayoffall
Kvinoja s raznim povrćem-kuhanim iz juhe i svježim, uz dodatak malo lešo puretine (iako bi i bez toga obrok bio potpun), začinila sam maslinovim uljem i raznim začinima. Nemam neki recept, kako sam raspoložena pa je nekad ljuto, nekad neslano i po nekima "bljutavo" 😁. Volim jesti ugljikohidrate (i  biljne proteine), ali se trudim manje jesti kruh, tjesteninu (nju skoro i ne jedem, jednostavno mi ne odgovara), a više pseudožitarice poput heljde, kvinoje itd. Mediteranska prehrana je zaista riznica okusa i zdravlja, a ja uživam u otkrivanju novih kombinacija i okusa. A još je i zdravo. Što ću kad volim kuhati i jesti! Sreća za moje dečke 🤗 . . Quinoa with veggies and some turkey from turkey soup (it would be great even without it). Lots of mediterranean herbs, olive oil. I don't have a specific recipe, I go with a feeling. And I never try food while cooking 🙄 😆. I love to eat semi-vegetarian, mediterranean food, but I try to focus on buckwheat, barley, quinoa and not on bread and pasta (I don 't eat pasta at all, it just doesn't go with my stomach). There are so many healthy options that are also tasty and it is all about creating a habit- eating a bowl of quinoa with any veggies and any spices you like instead of sandwich or a bag of chips and chocolate. Dinner tonight was veggie toad out of the hole. Basically quorn sausages, mash, green beans, Yorkshire pudding and gravy 😊  Luke had his nap at half 9 then refused to sleep again this afternoon so he was nearly asleep by the time he had eaten about a quarter of this and then just screamed like he was being tortured. Poor bubba was shattered. I enjoyed mine though!

Meal planning makes my life SO👏🏼MUCH👏🏼EASIER! Because it’s planned ahead of time, I don’t have to worry about rushing to the grocery store to get something (usually), and I’m not scrambling to put something together during our already busy evenings.😅I typically have an idea of a side or two to go with each dinner, making at least one of them a vegetable. One other bonus is that the family knows what to expect for dinner, so there are less complaints from picky eaters.👊🏼We take Sundays pretty easy around here, so we will usually do something simple (like a quesadilla, leftovers, or pizza) when we don’t have a family dinner going on. • I always encourage my clients to meal plan, because they are less likely to eat out or to eat something that’s just convenient and typically less healthy for you. When you know what you are going to eat ahead of time, you tend to make better food choices. SANTORINI WRAPS _ These were a treat from Greek heaven 👼 and are a sneak peek of our recipes available to our meal plan members for all of you to enjoy!  _ Makes 8 wraps - serving approx. 2-4 _ INGREDIENTS FOR WRAPS: - 3 Turnips, chopped into 1/2” cubes - 3 Zucchini, chopped into 1/2” cubes - 1 tsp Onion Powder - 1 tsp Garlic Powder - 4 tsp Dried Dill - 4 tsp Dried Thyme - 1 tbsp Olive Oil (optional) - 8 Napa Cabbage leaves (See Tip Below) - 1/2 cup Black Raw Olives (optional but recommended) - 8 Gluten-free, Grain-free Wraps (optional) INGREDIENTS FOR GREEK RANCH DRESSING: - 1/2 cup Cashews , soaked in warm water for 30 - 60 minutes then drained - 1/2 Zucchini, peeled and chopped - 1/2 Lemon, juiced - 2 cloves Garlic, thinly sliced - 1 tsp Onion Powder - 1 tsp Garlic Powder - 1 tsp dried Parsley - 1 tsp dried Dill or 1 tbsp fresh Dill, finely chopped - 1 tsp dried Basil or 1 tbsp fresh Basil, finely chopped - 1 tsp dried Chives or 1 tbsp fresh Chives, finely chopped  _ DIRECTIONS FOR WRAPS: 1. Toss zucchini and turnips in oil, if using, and seasoning in a medium bowl and toss well to combine. 2. On a parchment paper lined baking sheet, bake seasoned zucchini and turnips at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for approx 30 minutes or until soft when pierced with fork and starting to lightly brown.  3. While veggies bake, add all dressing ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. If a thinner consistency is desired, add 1 tbsp of water at a time to thin out. Transfer dressing to a small dressing jar.  4. Take one grain-free, gluten-free wrap, if using, and place a cabbage leave in the center of it. Then stuff center of the cabbage or lettuce leave with baked herbed turnip-zucchini mixture. Top with olives, if using, and greek ranch dressing drizzle. Repeat with remaining 7 wraps! . If only I had a dollar for every conversation I’ve had with someone about not eating enough calories to put on muscle!! . This is one of the hardest concepts for woman to grasp because they are too concerned about eating too much and gaining weight. . I have had to learn this lesson myself and it took a very long time for me to learn it. Even to this day I get complacent and think I got my diet down enough to just wing it and then I look in the mirror after months of training and see no growth. . These past couple of months I’ve been making it a priority to keep track and not only have I put size on but I am much stronger. . Your wasting your time in the gym killing yourself training if you are not feeding your body the proper nutrients it needs to grow. . Cookie Dough Bites. If you can pour stuff in a bowl and move a spoon around inside of the bowl, you can make these @themealprepmanual⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ These make for a cool treat to keep available in the freezer for when you want a quick sweet snack. I find them best when they are frozen and allowed to thaw for 5-10 minutes. The texture is best when you do this. I just leave them in the freezer and pull them out whenever I want to eat them. ⁣ ⁣⁣ INGREDIENTS ⁣⁣ 3 tbsp (20g) oat flour⁣⁣ 2/3 scoop (20g) whey protein ⁣⁣ 2.25 tbsp (20g) coconut flour ⁣⁣ ~1/4 cup (50g) unsweetened applesauce 1/4 tsp (1g) stevia or sweetener ⁣⁣ 2 tsp (10g) mini chocolate chips ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ PREPARATION⁣⁣ 1. Measure out your applesauce and whey protein. Mix thoroughly in a bowl until incorporated ⁣⁣ 2. Mix in the coconut flour, stevia, and oat flour until a dough like consistency is formed. ⁣⁣ 3. Stir in chocolate chips. ⁣⁣ 4. Create a bunch of bite sized pieces and freeze. ⁣⁣ 5. I got 18 bites. Obviously that’s going to depend on how many you make. The nutrition for the whole recipe is 305.8 CALS 38.5g C | 20.4g P | 7.8g F⁣ ⁣⁣ ❓I don’t have applesauce in my country. ❗️Make it. Or use Greek yogurt. Or figure it out on your own.⁣ ⁣ ❓Can I swap the flour?⁣⁣ ❗️Oat flour, yes. Coconut flour no. ⁣⁣ ⁣ ❓Can I use sugar instead of stevia?⁣ ❗️Yes. Why would you not be able to? It’s just going to add calories which if you’re not worried about, will probably lead to a better end product. The stevia is only used because it’s 0 calorie. ⁣ ⁣⁣ ❓How did you make them perfectly spherical?⁣⁣ ❗️Make the small pieces and then roll them between your palms. This step isn’t necessary if you don’t want to do it. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ❓My dough is too dry. ⁣⁣ ❗️I used metric measurements not volumetric.
