HOT SANDWICH WITH SLAW - I like how u can pick your spice level here (mild, medium, hot). Regardless of which spice level u pick, the chicken is nicely battered, crispy and still moist on the inside. The hot was too hot for me though. On first bite, u are like “oh it’s not too bad”...give it a couple of seconds and then it hits you 🔥🔥 I’ll be sticking with the mild going forward 😬
Finally get to try the toast bread with kaya and custard dip from @onlokyun ! Love the soft white bread with kaya. The kaya is smooth and not too sweet so decided to buy 1 bottle of it that cost 40 baht which will only last for 3 days because there are no preservatives. The rest of the dishes are ok so will go for the bread and kaya when I go back the next time! #gerfoodie#livetoeat#lovetoeat#foodblog#foodbloggers#travelblog#traveltoeat#bkkfood#kayatoast Shop name: On Lok Yun Location: As above Price: Check out the menu in the pictures
1 👉🏼 2 or 👉🏼 3 🙊🍜🍣 May have gone slightly HAM on the poke order.. (I did spread it over lunch and dinner!) but if I have to pay a delivery fee for ubereats, you can make damn sure I’m making the driver work for it 😂 Well, partly that and partly just using that as an excuse to try ALL THE BOWLS at the newly opened @_pokemi 🙃 No matter how many presets there are on the menu, I always seem to want to make my own, so besides the Mexican chicken (which is kind of more like a burrito bowl than poke (no complaints – love Mexican, but what is poke without sushi rice!?), I chose the “Haku” build your own option. I went for a huge range – my first time having noodles as a base! – but the classic tuna and salmon on sushi rice was definitely my favourite. A little pricey imo given size / generosity of toppings, but a great new try nonetheless - plus they do extras like gyozas and side pots (their aubergine & edamame is 🔥) if like me you're just a bottomless pit 🙄🤣 I’ve never really strayed from Island Poke and Ahi Poke so maybe I need to try more poke spots round London – any recommendations!?
