This Victorian Boho vanity is in the shop! ❤️ The wooden detail on the drawers gives off both of those vibes & the typewriter milk paint accents the wood tones beautifully. 😍 Also, we have lots of fall inspired pillows that will easily transition into winter too! 🍂🌲 . . @mmsmilkpaint @missmustardseed

Energy Update for the Week of 10.14 through 10.20 This week has a strong focus on endings, clearing out the old, and coming to terms with what has come full cirlce for you. Acknowledging, understanding, and choosing to end repeating patterns, toxic, or dysfunctional situations are at the forefront this week. Coming off of this big full moon energy which is still with us will be supporting this clearing out time for us. Highly Sensitive and Empathic people (like yourself) may notice that you're still experiencing full moon sysmptoms at the beginning of this week. Be gentle with yourself and practice the slow down, self care, and boundaries that you're craving and needing. Time alone to recharge and hear the sound of your inner voice helps you to clear out any old cobwebs or confusion about what is ending for you in your life. This quiet time will also help you to clearly see why you're finally ready to make the changes that you're being called to make and pull up your strength and inner knowing to make the changes you're being guided to make. As you make these changes, you'll notice that you have room to receive, welcome, and experience new blessings, opportunities, and positive changes that you've been wanting. Breathe, take it easy with yourself this week, but lean into your inner wisdom and choose to make the changes you know are right for you. Every action counts toward a positive shift, seemingly small changes lead up to big dividends. 💚💙💚💙 #fullmoon#letgo#sensitive#highlysensitive#highlysensitiveperson#hsp#empath#feelings#introvert#emotions#selflove#selfcare#selfrespect#selfmastery#personalgrowth#wellness#intuitive#spirituality#readings#angels#energy#energyhealing#healing#coaching#coach#author#smallbusiness#localbusiness#chicoca#kristymayala

Hi 👋so what happened was I left my phone on top of my car Friday afternoon and drove away after which it was obviously run over. I’ve been Instagram-less for the weekend which sadly felt like eternity.. Though in the end it was very refreshing. This was a lesson for me in a couple of ways: one is that when I overextend myself for months on months until I am plain burnt out, I tend to make dumb mistakes that would be preventable by better planning and making time for myself to rest. Secondly, since I started this business it has been increasingly difficult for me to remember how to actually rest. Even when I’m home at night I’m really working without realizing it, responding to messages, thinking about how to move product, doing research and planning my next Instagram post so I can stay up on the marketing game. It’s a conundrum a lot of us (especially business owners) have. I didn’t realize how consumed I was until I spent three days without my phone and felt so much anxiety.. I was never ever this attached to my phone until I started Foxhound Flowers, so it was pretty alarming to me. Anyway, the moral of this story is that it is so incredibly important both for yourself, those you love and your business to practice self-awareness and to be conscious and thoughtful about how you’re spending your off-time. It’s a lesson that’s easy to talk about but much harder to walk. That being said, if you reached out and I didn’t respond, I’m sorry. Please try reaching out again as I lost texts that may have come through. I’m back pre-sprouting ranunculus today, and tomorrow I’ll be on the farm planting and harvesting beautiful dahlias (available for only a couple more weeks) so you can expect more updates. Stay tuned on where you can find them this weekend!
