I cried deep, and let it all go. it was a release waiting to happen. and there was a question that kept popping up. Dreaming it is one thing….. but until you start making moves, steps & actions that put yourself in the way of this dream - it will not become reality. Make the phone call, schedule the appointment, book the trip, put the date on the calendar, raise the money - whatever you need to do!! Show the universe you aren’t taking no for an answer. And, make the lifestyle changes necessary to make room for the dream! ✨ RELISH in the feeling of already having it. Sit with it, day dream, meditate, journal, and feel what it feels like to already be there. Raise your vibe so high that it IS already here. Low Salicylate Diet Update So we are a bit over a week into cutting back on salicylates (see previous post). We're not fully eliminating them but are trying to stick to as low salicylates as possible. I had originally planned on including carrots, red apples and pumpkin (all moderate in salicylates) as both boys love them, and with carrots and pumpkin being one of the few vegetables my 2 year old happily eats I was reluctant to completely eliminate them but I think we need to cut them right out for a while and see what happens. 🤷🏼♀️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We've had some wins👍🏻 but we've also had some setbacks 😞 A school holiday playdate that included pizza (ham and tomato sauce) and (homemade) popcorn threw a spanner in the works for a few days and we're still getting over it to be honest. Part of me is glad because it reinforces that these are definite 'no' ❌ foods for us at the moment and the rest is just plain tired of managing the behaviour and mood swings and trying to stay positive through it all. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I think the hardest part of all of this is finding a way to make it work. I don't want my kids to miss out on fun things (like party food and play dates) but if it results in days and weeks of behaviour and emotional problems then it really doesn't feel like it's worth it - for them or me! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It’s so hard for my 5 year old. He half gets that some foods make him feel bad but he also wants what everyone else has (naturally! 🤔I love my life. However, I have asked myself the question “Am I living or merely existing?” As kids we are imaginative and have big dreams, but unfortunately many of us lose the courage to act and live the life we truly dream of when we grow up. Most of us stay on our straight path of familiarity, in our daily routine and afraid to step outside of its cautious boundaries and explore and take risks. Sometimes because it feels safe or it is seen to be the right thing to do and we conform to what others want. I never thought I would have my own online global business, alongside nursing and being a mum and wife, but I’m so grateful to @samantha_j_donovan that she offered me this opportunity and I said yes. I am surrounded by incredible people who make me feel inspired and empowered to create the life I desire for my family, to feel fulfilled and fulfill the lives of others too. That evening we introduced a new coach to our group call too... what impression we must have made!!! _ Well she still in the group, so clearly she just as mad as the rest of us!!
