Staying motivated is hard. Being dedicated is harder.⠀ •⠀ One week the scale can show a 3 pound decrease, but the next week it can show you gained 1 pound... that increase may get you discouraged. It may get you mad at yourself and/or your coach. You’ll probably ask yourself, “what did I do wrong? I’m working my ass off, going to the gym, eating right... that makes no sense.”⠀ •⠀ We’ve all be there. It’s so common to get frustrated during this journey. Things to ask yourself before giving up is: did you eat higher sodium? Did you walk less yesterday? Did you train a bigger muscle? Are you pooping regularly? Is your period coming? All of these questions play a huge role in your “weekly weight gain”. ⠀ •⠀ Before you get stressed seeing the scale go up and eat a cheeseburger because you think what you’re doing isn’t working, dig deep into what your days leading up to that weigh-in day look like. ⠀ •⠀ Stay the course and be dedicated to hit your goals.⠀ •⠀ And, just so you know, I’m putting together a brand-new program starting November 3.
