Happy sunny Sunday 💛 Here's a gross yellow version of my #foreveroctoberslouch, which is basically a squishy snugglefest blanket nest for your head! This baby is about to be tested, so you will all be able to make one of your very own soon 🤞🏻 I whipped up this slouch a couple days ago so I could put the finishing touches on the pattern (using @feistyfibres Fluff in colourway Toast). I love faux fur poms, but there's something about a giant classic yarn pom that has me like 🤩🤩 Now the real question: do you prefer faux fur poms, or yarn poms?!
I’ve put a few Kits for #wavescowlmgk by @mariagmariag into the shop. 🖤 These two skeins will make two gorgeous Waves Cowls. Knit one for yourself and one for someone you love. I’ve casted on and it’s such an enjoyable and quick knit.❤️Don’t forget about #smallbusinesssaturday . We have teamed up with other small yarny businesses and with every purchase made today you will get a 10%code to use in our partner shops . Shop link in bio. We small businesses should stand together, help each other and lift each other up. 🙌🏻 We are small but can make a change in a world which is too often too cold and calculating, controlled by huge businesses. It can be challenging for a small business to exist and we are all more than thankful and blessed, that the knitting community is a community of small businesses and amazing people , who really care. Thank you for everything, it’s you who made that possible for all of us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts .Steffi and Juergen ❤️❤️❤️🥰
Hello dear Winter ❄️ I'm finding more and more I crave the quietude and clarity that comes from going *offline*. It always starts with a day and turns into weeks on end of not touching social media. It's so therapeutic! It's strange being stuck in between a world of wanting to feel a deep connection with our beautiful planet and stars, to live simply. While on the other hand wanting to share and connect via this amazing yet invasive technology. Sometimes I'm disappointed and disturbed by that impulse to take photos rather than stop and enjoy beautiful moments (one that I'm so guilty of). Taking breaks always helps me collect myself and consider what is really meaningful in my life. Truly, thank you for sticking around throughout my inconsistent insta usage. I have so many patterns to release in the coming year (including this first Design, Olwyn!) ❄️ I hope you're looking forward to the returning light in only a few short weeks! #lopi#knittersofinstagram#handknit
It's time for our second annual Gifting Giveaway! I've saved one of each of our limited edition row counters this year, and one lucky person (and very deserving friend) will win them all plus a few little extra tokens thrown in. Rather than bidding for something you yourself will win, in the spirit of the holidays tag someone you think deserves an extra special gift this year, and if you win, I will send it to that friend! Gift Includes: One Row Counter for each season (4 total) plus something from me ;) To clarify, to enter the giveaway you must: ✨follow @twillandprint ✨Like this picture ✨Tag the friend/friends you think would love this gift! Each tag is an entry. You will be contacted first to see if you have your friend's shipping information (to keep it super secret). If not I will contact them directly :) Shipping is covered within Canada and the Continental United States. Winner will be drawn December 10th at noon EST (before the Canadian holiday cut off, so they'll get it in time for the holidays) 😘
L O P P E R • It is always exciting when a design evolves as you work on it and take a life if it’s own and becomes something very different from your sketch! BUT there is also something so satisfying about having an idea and executing it just as you had envisioned. My Loppe socks are exactly such a design. As you can see from the sketch nothing has changed ♥️ The pattern is ready to be tested and instructions can be found in my ravelry group 🤗 (link in bio)
@unarcencieldanslelavabo's picture of our Striped Crew Socks captures everything we love about hand knit socks - meditative to knit, luxuriously cozy to wear, and just so special in every way! Find the free pattern at purlsoho.com!
She’s almost done! I already want to cast on another one. . I taught myself to knit about 3yrs ago. I’m originally a crocheter and learned from my mom when I was 10. Knitting was always this magical creature to me. I NEVER thought I would be able to knit. And believe me I tried multiple times but couldn’t never get the hang of it. Then a few years ago I gave it another shot and something just clicked and I did it! I was knitting! . If there’s something you want to learn and have tried but you couldn’t get the hang of it, just try again. Give it another shot. You may get it this time! If you had told me 5 years ago I would be knitting, AND making my own sweaters I would have laughed and thought, yea right! That will never happen. But look at me now! Proud maker moment 💛😊! . Just finished this scarf. Funny how you come up with excuses to knit yet another project. I made one scarf out of @anzulaluxuryfibers #yarn some time ago. If you took my #brioche classes, I am talking about red and dark grey scarf from worsted weight yarn. When I finally wrote this pattern, I thought that it would be nice to have it in a lighter version. So, here we go. I love it and it let me watch a few good movies. 😂 #knittersofinstagram#briocheknitting#colors#yarn
Advent 🕯🕯💫 . . .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #stricken#knitting#knittingpattern#breien#tricot#knittersofinstagram#knittersofig#knittersgonnaknit#knittersoftheworld#knittingaddict#knittinglove#knittinginspiration#knitting_inspiration #instaknit#instaknitting#knittersofravelry#mohaircardigan#langyarns#kimcardigan
