I didn't think it would have to come to this but Obviously it has David Moyes in his first 2 seasons as Everton Manager: a 7th Place finish and a season many Evertonians would like to forget, it was a time when We were almost relegated for the first time in Premier league history, but despite this, our board stuck with Moyes, and the season after we recorded our highest Premier league finish, which it still is today. and after that horrible season, We only had 1 bottom half finish under Moyes, with most offering european football. This is why you give managers time. because sometimes it takes time for the ideology to set in. we gave that time to moyes and look what happened. Why should it be any different with Silva, atm we're not in any danger of relegation and we won't be, just be patient, Rome wasn't built in a day Follow My Partners @lilywhite_bible1882 @arsenalclubupdates @mancity.fanzzz @evertonislife @toffeesmedia @cfc.talker @avfcprime @efctogether @efc.coyb @____sportsdaily ___ Ignore 🚫 _______________________ #coyb#premierleague#utft#everton#nsno#goodison#silvain#pickford#coleman#famousefc#evertonfootballclub#marcosarmy#gomes#belter#digne#richarlison#kean#iwobi#evertonfc#grandoldteam#merseyside#england#peoplesclub#fifa20#delph#baines#gbamin#gylfi#prem#toffees
Everton 0-2 Sheffield U Goodison Park🏟 Match Review📖 • Both clubs hopeful of an immediate bounce back from disappointing defeats a week ago. The money was on for Everton. • Richarlison was at the heart of the first attack of the game, resulting in great composure and skill, but unfortunately rounded of with a high and wide finesse shot. Gylfi Sigurdsson then threatened the box but unable to find a free pocket, then to turn and provide Digne with a short pass, to have a shot on goal straight down the keepers throat. Sigurdsson then was given an chance to provide an assist, only for Richarlison to over head kick it wastefully. Next worthy attack came from Sheffield United with a corner swung in to end up hitting Yerry Mina’s back and hitting the back of the net, 0-1. Good work from Moise Kean exploiting the wide area and placing a slow ball straight on to Richarlison’s head for him to only slightly clip the ball, simple for Dean Henderson. Baldock then running wide to play a crystal throne ball to Lys Mousset for him to poke it beyond Jordan Pickford, sealing the 3 points against all the odds. 0-2. THE VERDICT: Another embarrassing performance, tacticts were woeful and the formation once again was questionable. Why do we persist with this formation, 4-2-3-1 at home to newly promoted Sheffield United who were provoked to come rock bottom? Pathetic. The thing that stings is Sheffield United weren’t at full throttle either, Chris Wilder also said in the post match interview. However questions should be asked of our own players. Bernard, just Bernard in general really isn’t it. Richarlison was predictable and closed down to easily. Sheffield United’s tactic was to push us wide where they had wing backs, backed up by a following CB. And consistently that was where our attack resulted. No creativity from Sigurdsson, sideway boring play was exactly what they wanted and we give it to them. Moise Kean is isolated. Marco Silva showed no interest imo, not
Poor selection. Poor Tactics. Poor Substitution Timing. Poor Management. Poor Performance. However I still stand with Marco. I stand by him and his project, and players need time to gel on games like these and that’s why Bernard was chosen over Iwobi. To try a different front 3 partnership. However it didn’t work, so be it. We all wanna see Moise Kean firing, but unfortunately it hasn’t happened yet. We are, as a fanbase, over expecting our teams capabilities so early in the season. Moise Kean has come from a farmers League at the age of 19 with an expectation of prime Henry. Look at Nicolas Pepe, same quality of previous league, same result. Absolute fuck all. But what can we seriously expect. Players need time to adapt to the pace of the Premier League and the role they play in their system. Like it or not, Kean needs time to a develop and 6 weeks ain’t gonna do that. Marco has a plan that suits our style of play and these, by god terrible results are part of the development. Silva may have made some bad choices today, however he’s trying to find a formula that works consistently. After 2 wins, we had an International Break, so players then had to break of their progress and change into their respective Programs. Now it may seem im sticking up for the wrong team here and I honestly am. I think we give him till January and let him sort out the team with that window, and if things don’t change, Silva out. I just hope the board haven’t reached their decision to make the sack, because without an immediate replacement, we could be in serious trouble. I also think the squad depth we established during the window should be acted upon, and Sidibé should be given a chance vs Sheffield Wednesday. For now, #silvain
Where do I start? Spineless. I’m sorry to people who don’t agree but Marco out, his team choice is dreadful, his tactics are dreadful, our play is boring. We play half heartedly. Today was an utter nightmare. Gylfi, shit as per, Bernard nowhere near Iwobi level. Richarlison clueless on what to do. Schneiderlin disappeared, Coleman is slow and can’t cross a ball. Keane is too timid. Mina doesn’t use his height to his advantage, id love Arteta but just don’t see him leaving City. I reckon if we lose to Wednesday mid-week. Marco is gone. Onwards and upwards blues.
🔷️ PREVIEW: Sheffield United (H) 🔷️ . 🏟 Goodison Park 📅 21/09/2019 ⏲ 3:00PM . Matchday 6 and it's Everton vs Sheffield United, at Goodison Park. . Sheffield United has had a decent start to their campaign, however their previous game does not reflect such campaign - losing to Southampton 1-0. Chris Wilder has done an excellent job so far with the Blades after many believed a struggle for survival would be the common story for their campaign. . Everton, on the other hand, have had a typical Everton season. We had the chance to go third in the table and we let it slip from our hands after a poor game against Bournemouth with a few positives to take. . 𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐂𝐇 𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐕𝐈𝐄𝗪 𝘌𝘝𝘌𝘙𝘛𝘖𝘕 𝘷 𝘚𝘏𝘌𝘍𝘍𝘐𝘌𝘓𝘋 𝘜𝘕𝘐𝘛𝘌𝘋 It could be an emotional game on Saturday as legendary skipper Phil Jagielka could return as part of the starting lineup to Goodison Park for the first time after leaving at the end of his contract to wind down his playing career at his boyhood club. As for the match itself, it should be a fairly comfortable win for us as we haven't lost at home since February and, realistically, Sheffield United should not be threatening that record despite them having some good players and a fairly decent coach. With this, we should cruise to victory due to the sheer quality of our players.
