I put the finishing touches on this mural for @opositivefest yesterday afternoon. The mural is at 3 Dunn Street in Kingston, on the old Twalfskill Firehouse. At 35’ x 20’, it’s my biggest solo project, and I’m so proud and excited to share it with everyone! I had an amazing time in Kingston, and I can’t say enough good things about the O+ festival. Part of the compensation package for artists includes health and wellness visits, and I was very fortunate to receive healing acupuncture and fascial counterstrain physical therapy (never heard of it? Me neither, but it is amazing and highly recommended!) during the festival. Special huge thanks to @saldelasrosas @thorneatercomics @jesikafarkas @deniseorzo , Tom, Don, Jerry, Amy, and everyone I’m forgetting for their help and support. Nothing this size is created in a vacuum, and it couldn’t have been done without all these wonderful people! Also much thanks to all of Kingston for welcoming me and sending nothing but positive vibes my way. I worked 10-12 hours/day for 8 days straight, skipping lunches and not taking breaks, but I feel so energized and healthy because art IS healing. ❤️❤️❤️
Lately I've been just letting go. Just letting the inner voice guide me with my art. I start out painting and haven't the clue what it will end up being. But, it's truly a gift because it's guiding me to find who I really am. I can reflect on each piece and I noticed how chaotic and confused my mind is but with that is the beauty of creativity. Maybe ALLOT different than some of the artist I love but, it's me! . I love you guys! Thanks for the support! 🥰 . ..
