Daydreaming about Costa Rica in 3️⃣ days. As excited as I am; there are some things I hate about traveling: 1. Leaving the pups 2. Turbulence in flight 3. Packing/unpacking 4. The work week prior, trying to prepare your clients & business partners for when you’re out of town. Because when I’m out of town; there is no working. No email. No client check-ins. Nada. It’s all Me time. Of course, these things suck but they don’t outweigh the JOY that is traveling: meeting new people, trying new foods, experiencing new cultures, swimming in the ocean, basking in soft, white sand, eating tacos and drinking cold beer, going on ATV rides through the jungle, rafting down the Rio, riding horses at sunset on the beach, snorkeling in crystal clear water ... - Werkin’ hard this week to make that “Out of Office” email a reality! it seems that no matter what family i’m with (mine or sams lol) the biggest, most dreadful question asked every day is... . “what’s for dinner” 🤔😩🥴🤷🏽♀️ LOL . sometimes sam and i won’t even talk about dinner until like 5:30!! and then we’re not eating until 7 and since i got to bed between 8-8:30 every night that kinda sucks because less time post-dinner to just chill with samuel and if i’m finishing my macros post-dinner i feel like i’m eating two meals at once and i don’t like that either! . so yesterday, in order to prevent this and honestly just not deal with that annoying and kinda stressful Q, i made sam sit down with me and plan dinners FOR 👏🏽THE 👏🏽WEEK!! . i actually got this idea from MY parents - every night in their house it’s something.. burgers on Monday, tacos on Tuesday, pizza on friday etc . so that’s what sam and i did and now? i’m actually excited!?! here’s what we came up with: 🍗MONDAY: chicken, rice veggies 🌮TUESDAY: tacos 🍔WEDNESDAY: burgers/sloppy joes 🍝THURSDAY: pasta 🥔FRIDAY: roasted potatoes, protein, veg 🍣SATURDAY: take out . i plan to do this sunday nights moving forward that way monday morning i can wake up, get my cardio done, hit the grocery and just pick up what it is i need for the week and be done! . this also helps me pre plan my macros in advance! i know some people struggle with dinner because they don’t know what it’s going to be, maybe mom cooks or you don’t think about it until you’re home from work so you have to play tetris, but now i can plug in my whole day perfectly right in the morning because i know what dinner will be! . this super quick menu planning has already helped SO MUCH and i highly recommend doing with who you live with! . PLSSS TELL ME we’re not the only ones who struggle with this every day??! do you already do this? how do you decide what the heck is for dinner every night? LOL . happy tuesday! make it a gr8 DAYYY!

You know who’s pretty rad? - YOU ARE! - A common mistake we make is comparing ourselves, our journies, our growth, our whatever’s to other people’s. - If we spent as much time tracking our own progress than focusing on other people’s, I think we would be way more at peace with ourselves. - I’m not saying don’t pay attention to your friends or coworkers or family members. Support them when you can Celebrate with them when you can. If or when those feelings of doubt start to creep in, try to take a mental step back and think to your own milestones.
