WELLBEING WEDNESDAY๐ŸŒท๐ŸŒฟ. - - I feel so much better this week. Over the weekend I took a few days to relax and do the things I love which helped to recharge my batteries and energised me for the week ahead. Sometimes you need to take a day or two to relax and do what you love, especially if you’re the type of person who is always ‘go go go’. You have to remind yourself that you aren’t super man and can’t do everything! ๐Ÿ˜Œ rest when you need it! . - - Today I was back in the gym squatting heavy again, something I haven’t done in a while as my focus has been on hypertrophy, rather than strength. It’s important to reassess your goals every few weeks and if you find yourself getting bored or plateauing, then you need to change up your routine and adjust your training. I managed to get out full depth barbell back squats of 80kg x 8, 90kg x 6, 100kg x 4 and 110kg x 2. I was pretty happy with this โ˜บ๏ธ๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿผ‍โ™€๏ธ - - Do something today that you enjoy. ๐Ÿฆ‹ If something happened today that frustrated you but you know it wasn’t a big deal, forget about it and move on. If you failed one of your uni subjects and have to repeat, remember that everything happens for a reason and be okay with it. If you hate your job and can’t stand going there every day, quit! Life is too short to live a mediocre life and you only live that life once, so live it how you want. Stop saying yes to everyone because you feel bad. YOU ONLY GET WHAT YOU GIVE ๐Ÿ’ฏ  If you’re not seeing results there is an 100% chance you’re not giving it your all.  There are no short cuts. No quick fixes. No easy ways. Your only option is hard work. Without it, you will not see the results you want ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿผ‍โ™€๏ธ You cannot half ass anything and expect full results - it just ain’t gonna happen. You need to give 110 percent effort 110 percent of the time and that’s the harsh truth.  Training and eating right is hard and sometimes it fucking sucks! Sometimes all you want is KFC for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Sometimes you don’t want to get out of bed and go to the gym. Sometimes you want to leave after your warm up. When those sometimes come along you need to understand you are the only one in control of the results you get. You are in control of how you train and what you eat. You are in control of sucking it up and putting in the work anyway. No one can do it for you.
