✖️Quenelles Lyonnaises en sauce tomate ✖️ certainement dans mon TOP 10 de mes recettes préférées ✖️ et dieu sait que je détestais ça petite...un traumatisme de cantine.. je me suis réconciliée avec les quenelles depuis que je les fait « maisons ». Y’a pas de secret, tout est meilleur maison 🤷🏻♀️ J’ai essayé pas mal de recettes mais celle-ci est là meilleure à mon goût : Ingrédients pour une douzaine de quenelles 100 g de beurre 200 g de farine 20 cl de lait 4 œufs Sel et poivre Faites chauffer le lait et le beurre dans une casserole, à feu doux. Quand le beurre est fondu, ajoutez la farine. Mélangez bien, toujours à feu doux. la pâte doit s’épaissir, s’assécher et se décoller des parois de la casserole. Hors du feu, Ajoutez les œufs. Salez et poivrez. Formez les quenelles : avec vos mains ou avec la technique des de 2 cuillères à soupe. C’est un coup de main 🤚🏻 ! laissez reposer les quenelles au frais pendant 30 min. Faites bouillir une grande casserole d’eau salée. glisser les quenelles dans l’eau bouillante. Laissez-les cuire une quinzaine de minutes, elles vont gonfler et remonter à la surface. Récupérer les quenelles avec un écumoire, égouttez-les bien. Dans un plat à gratin, déposez votre sauce tomate ou de la béchamel, déposez les quenelles, et parsemez d’une couche généreuse d’emmental râpé et glissez le tout au four à 200°C pour une bonne dizaine de minutes. I got 99 problems but a lactose intolerance ain’t one. (Thank god.)🧀🧀 The cheesiest Mac and cheese tacos!! There’s a lot going on here...so I’ll explain starting from the inside: gf mac and cheese made with jalapeño cheddar cheese wrapped in a “cheese” taco that’s made out of melted Parmesan. Then there’s a layer of queso blanco “dip” between that and a roasted corn tortilla. 🤯🤯

No-Bake Rosemary Cherry Chocolate Cake (Vegan GF option) Added rosemary to my cherry filling and it turned out so good! Definitely one of my favourite cakes this year😋 Recipe for 16cm/ 6.3’’ silicone round cake mold Ingredients: Base: 100g your choice of vegan biscuits (use GF biscuits if you wish) 2 Tbsp. raw cacao powder 2 Tbsp. desiccated coconut 2 Tbsp. melted raw cacao butter Cherry layer: 120g raw cashews (soaked 4-6 hours and rinsed) 150g pitted cherries 3 Tbsp. melted raw cacao butter 3-4 Tbsp. maple syrup 2 Tbsp. coconut cream or full fat coconut milk 1 tsp chopped fresh rosemary 1 Tbsp. lemon juice Pinch of pink salt 12 pitted cherries to place inside the filling Chocolate layer: 120g raw cashews (soaked 4-6 hours and rinsed) 2/3 cup (160ml) coconut cream or full fat coconut milk 3 Tbsp. melted raw cacao butter 3 Tbsp. maple syrup 3 Tbsp. raw cacao powder 1/8 tsp pink salt Garnish: Dark chocolate Fresh cherries **You can substitute maple syrup & coconut cream with raw agave & raw almond milk for a raw filling version. Method: 1. Place biscuits in a food processor. Pulse until well processed. 2. Add rest of the ingredients for the base and pulse until well combined. Press the mixture into the base of the silicone mold. 3. In a high speed blender place every ingredient for the cherry layer and blend well until smooth. Add more sweetener and lemon juice if you need. Layer the filling above the base. Press the cherries into the filling and cool it in the freezer until set. 4. The #mondaybiztips 💪🏻 Few days ago, I did a survey to know if you would like me to write about my entrepreneur journey and other business topics. As you answered YES 😃, here we go. But, if you are here only for the food, don’t worry, it’ll still be 90% of my content. 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝘆 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘄? I’m, as I haven’t been since the beginning of the year. On one side, it’s very exciting, but on the other side, it can quickly become overwhelming. Stress can arise in no time and if we aren’t prepared to face it, it can become a daily nightmare. I went through such nightmares in the past and learned a lot about how to manage my work and my time to avoid stressful situations but also how to deal with stress when it’s settled. 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 5 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝗺𝗲 𝗮 𝗹𝗼𝘁. 1️⃣ If I have something to do that take less than 2 minutes, I do it immediately. What is done is no longer to be done. 2️⃣ I write absolutely every single professional and personal task on a to do list. It frees your mind and you can fully focus on your current work. At the same time, you are sure you won’t forget anything. I’m using the app @todoistofficial for mobile and desktop. But there is plenty of other apps. 3️⃣ Prioritization. We can’t do everything. Nobody can. I’m planning the most important tasks first and the quantity of work that’s feasible within the day. If you over plan, you’ll start the day with unnecessary stress. 4️⃣ When an overwhelming feeling arise, I close my eyes and take 3 deep breaths. It allows your body and mind to calm down quickly. 5️⃣ My 10 minute morning mediation has completely changed the way I start the day, especially when life is busy. By: Alvin Zhou, Tasty Ingredients (for 4 servings) 1 lb sirloin steak (455 g), about ½ inch (1cm) thick salt, to taste pepper, to taste 2 tablespoons oil 2 hearts romaine lettuce, chopped 3 hard-boiled eggs, diced 2 avocados, diced 2 cups cherry tomato (400 g), halved 3 tablespoons caesar dressing Preparation Salt and pepper the steak on both sides, being sure to rub in the seasoning. Heat the oil in a pan over high heat until slightly smoking. Sear the steak for about 2 minutes per side. Rest the steak on a cutting board for 10 minutes. Slice the steak. In a large bowl, combine the lettuce, eggs, avocados, cherry tomatoes, steak, and dressing. Toss the salad until evenly coated and serve. Enjoy!

🍓Had some overnight oats today because I was lucky enough to remember I had some chia seeds in my backpack from a previous trip. 🥳 Good timing because it’s nice and warm today and the craving for something cool took over. 😚 . Strawberry and Cashew Overnight Oats 1/2 cup rolled oats 2 tsp chia seeds 1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk Pinch of salt Pinch of salt 1/2 cup diced strawberries 2 tbsp cashews . Add all ingredients to a mason jar or Tupperware container. Give a good stir and place in fridge to thicken overnight. Served this with some banana sliced (mixed half with my oats and the other half on top of my bowl), extra cashews, nibs, pepitas, and puffed millet. 🍓

I was going to post a different photo today but it’s raining so I felt like posting soup. Also I happen to be wearing the same chunky oversized sweater that I’m wearing in this photo.
