"It is that dream we carry that something miraculous will happen that it must happen - that time will open that the heart will open that doors will open and that the rock face will open that springs will gush forth - that the dream will open and that one morning we'll glide in to a harbour we didn't know was there." . . . 📸 May 2019
I used to be an eyebrow-freak, I remember a friend asked me to accompany her to the hospital, emergency need niya magpa check-up, sabi ko “wait lang, magkikilay lang ako.” Hahahahahaha yeah, been there. But now? I don’t really remember when was the last time I had it plucked. Haha I haven’t seen my tweezers for months 🤔

I remember from college, to keep me sane and to still satisfy my love for writing I write stories in between school time, mostly while riding back home from school and I would always have them in my tiny notebook. I am dork that way that no matter how technology evolves there’s something about holding a pen and writing them down on a paper. -I love seeing erasures and random thoughts popping up in between those notes, that makes it even funnier to look back and read again- Whenever I form a line in my head and I forgot my notebook I always note them down on whatever piece of paper I have, mostly 711 receipts. What I remember the most is about writing a different stories with the title “dapit-hapon” “takipsilim” “tanghalingtapat” and bukangliwayway”. Funny how my favorite shots revolves around those too. Maybe because these four depicts the life of people: their struggle, the pain, the hurt, the neglect, but also their hope, their passion, and the serenity they crave.
