Yesterday was a dream. Beautiful desert day, a ridiculously talented vendor team, & [email protected] & sweet couple to top it off. Have to pinch myself on days like this.. . . Tested out our new 8’ metal grid panels and pretty much in love with how versatile they can be. Love to our desert team of flower hustlers @flowerfrenzy @friendflowerco for busting it out under the warm 🌞!
Bringing grace and kindness back into business. I've been pondering how we can do more of this, more often. Not hugs and handouts, but rather standing up for what we believe in and giving our authentic selves to others who contribute to our higher mission. ⠀ ⠀ In Good Company PR was built to serve, to educate & to connect. These three cornerstones help us create strategic, long-lasting impact and positive change around us. But, I recognize there's always more *good* to be done, right? ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ From Gaia & Lee's #italianwedding, featured on @overthemoon.⠀ Event design and production: Design Anarchy by @chicweddingsinitaly⠀ Flowers: @tuscanyflowers⠀ Photo: @cinziabruschini ⠀⠀ Paper: @shhhmydarling⠀
Yesterday was our FINAL elopement and wedding of 2019 and it was bittersweet. THANK YOU to everyone who has supported me during my first full wedding season in business-- sometimes even just a few kind words go a long way 💛 This has been the most challenging + joy filled year of my life and I STILL want to do this thing! 🤣🤣 Already thinking about what 2020 will look like for Rooted Floral!
“Notice how the flowers grow. They do not toil or spin. But I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of them. If God so clothes the grass in the field that grows today and is thrown into the oven tomorrow, will he not much more provide for you, O you of little faith?” -Luke 12: 27-28 What a gift it has been to create this piece inspired by these verses. Often as I work, my painting takes the form of prayer, regardless of the subject matter. I offer my work up because this talent, this call to create comes from God. When I was approached to create this painting, the couple’s parameters included using this verse as inspiration. While I worked on this piece, I meditated on these words; words I’ve read many times over the years, but seemed to be presented to me at this moment for a reason. I needed the reminder to let go of worry, to remember how good God is, how much beauty and promise He has to offer. I needed to be reminded to stop fussing. As this painting sits in its new home, I hope it is a reminder of goodness, peace, and beauty. Thank you, Otis & Jenna for asking me to create this special piece for your home. I pray that you feel His nearness when you look at it. #hilbertpaintings
