So much new stuff in my wardrobe this season that i'm struggling to wear it all! Maiden voyage of this new @spiermackay brown herringbone tweed sportcoat in their marvellous Neopoloitan cut. The fabric is a gorgeous, warm 'caramel' brown. A true classic that is going to serve me well for many years - I just have to ensure I don't put on (or lose) any weight! . I bought this jacket to replace an older brown herringbone that I had which was more of a tan colour - still undecided what i'm going to do with that one but I suppose you can never have too many brown jackets. . Other pieces featured here include a teal bengal stripe shirt, madder silk tie and a mustard merino cardigan. . How do you think this look came together, any recommendations how you would improve it?
The blazer, like the majority of menswear, comes from the military world, more precisely from the British Navy. I’m wearing a bespoke blue navy blazer by @serlory.sumisura (@vitalebarberiscanonico1663 4-ply fabric) with gold buttons matched with a bespoke shirt by @sartoria_iervolino and a regimental tie by @nicky_milano1920 #blazer#classic#clothes
A little bit of #truthfultuesday coming at ya.... the older I get, the worse my anxiety seems to get. I am becoming more of an introvert than I already was. I’ve stopped initiating conversations, I’ve stopped looking up and smiling at people, I’ve stopped many other things because it all triggers my anxiety. There have been a few close calls where my anxiety almost blew up into a full blown panic attack. Needless to say, I don’t like new experiences and/or drastic changes. I was so nervous about attending Jordan’s company Christmas party because it would mean a new experience and meeting lots of new people. I will say that I have never felt more comfortable in a new setting as I did Saturday night. I have never met a more inviting and amazingly nice bunch! Jordan is so lucky to work with such amazing people. By the end of the night I realized I didn’t have anything to worry about. Here’s a picture of us at the after party, don’t we clean up quite fine? ❤️🎄🎅🏻
