Circular economy, the ultimate form of sustinability. designers and makers and consumers need to select materials and products carefully to help a circular economy to be possible. This will allow the product, once used to go back into the envrionment allowing the same material to circulate in the system over and over again. There are two options, biolgical or techinqual. biological is when the materials and all its compnents will biodegrade going back into the earth. Technical is when we need to use a process in order for it to be reused. My work is technical, using metals which can be melted down with a little help from me, my packaging is biological, compostable. let’s Shop/ design /choose carefully and support circular economy

Moving always throws your identity for a loop. It’s the definition of moving, really - uprooting yourself and starting it all new someplace else. Space, relationship, activity, routine -all new. Fresh and frail. Lotta running around getting settled, and when you rest you remember you’re unknown and equally unknowing about your surroundings. - Thursday the kids and I drove to Virginia to see our old peeps for a few days. We’ve gone once a year since we left in summer 2016, and it’s always a gift. This time was no different. The kids fell right back into playing with their posses like no time had passed. I talked long and deep and full with my kindred friends. My soul remembered the goodness of knowing a place and being well known. And loved. It breathed perspective and hope on this new chapter we’re opening in Connecticut. It reminded me of how faithful God has been to provide me with what and who I need in each chapter. - I listened to heart-lifting podcasts in the car, both directions, while the kids watched DVDs. I felt my soul swelling, as if it was shaking off its sleep and opening its eyes again. I felt my passions stirring and my eyes lifting on the beauty of this life and chapter. And it was Good. - #moving#whenyoumove#deeplyrooted#movingmeditation
