I was sick and I ๐ฌ๐ค๐ข๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ž๐ the gym!! โฃ โฃ My body was trying to fight off sickness and I knew I needed to rest. As bad as I wanted to go, I knew I would just be shooting myself in the foot and stressing my body even more (keeping me out of the gym longer). โฃ โฃ โฃ ๐ƒ๐ข๐ ๐ˆ ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฌ๐ž ๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ? ๐ƒ๐ข๐ ๐ˆ ๐ก๐š๐ฏ๐ž ๐ญ๐จ ๐œ๐ฎ๐ญ ๐ฆ๐ฒ ๐œ๐š๐ฅ๐จ๐ซ๐ข๐ž๐ฌ ๐ข๐ง ๐ก๐š๐ฅ๐Ÿ ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ ๐ญ๐ก๐š๐ญ ๐๐š๐ฒ?! ๐ƒ๐ข๐ ๐ˆ ๐ฌ๐š๐ฒ “๐Ÿ๐ฎ๐œ๐ค ๐ข๐ญ, ๐ˆ’๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐ ๐จ ๐›๐š๐œ๐ค ๐Œ๐จ๐ง๐๐š๐ฒ”??!! โฃ โฃ โŒ I still woke up with all of my muscle!!!! Progress doesn’t happen over night, neither does regress. One workout will NOT make or break ya. โฃ โŒ I still ate ALL of my food! Especially carbs!!! Your body is fighting sickness, it needs the fuel to get the job done. โฃ โŒ Today, I woke up feeling A1!! My throat was sore, but nothing that was stopping me from getting back into the gym. So, I went!! Learn to rest and not just quit. โฃ โฃ This is a lifestyle. little bit of a throwback to longer hair (i just cut off about 4 inches๐Ÿ™ƒ) BUT i made the decision on moving back to des moines next semester to get some of my gen ed’s out of the way before i (probably) transfer to iowa state the following fall semester๐Ÿคฉtbh living in a small town isn’t for me! i’m so excited to make my transition back to des moines for next semester where i can hopefully provide more workout videos (if they’re wanted) and of course be with my doggo againโค๏ธ happy wednesday!

What's my secret? Oh, it's the new diet pill called "get the fuck up & work your ass off"! ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿป . Mehr schlecht als recht, aber es war ein Anfang. ๐Ÿ˜ Wie gerne hätte ich schon damals das Wissen gehabt, was ich jetzt habe. ๐Ÿ™†๐Ÿผ‍โ™€๏ธ Ich habe so viel dazu gelernt, was Ernährung und Training angeht. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป๐Ÿฅ™Wobei mein Defizit deutlich im Trainingsbereich liegt. ๐Ÿคซ Denn einen guten Trainingsplan zu erstellen, ist wirklich eine Kunst und dazu braucht man einfach Erfahrung und Expertise. ๐Ÿค“๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป๐Ÿคจ Egal wie viele "Fehler" ich am Anfang gemacht habe, ich habe nie den Fehler gemacht und habe aufgegeben. Ich wusste, was ich erreichen möchte und vor allem wusste ich auch, was ich erreichen kann. ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’ฏ Ich habe mein Ziel nicht über Nacht erreicht. Auch nicht innerhalb von 4 Wochen. ๐Ÿค Nein, ich reise mir seit Jahren den A***h auf, um mein Ziel zu erreichen. #maschinenbau Ich stehe extra früher auf, um ins Training zu gehen oder bleibe länger wach, weil ich noch vorkochen muss. ๐Ÿ˜Œ Und ich habe bislang keinen Tag bereut diesen Weg zu gehen. ๐Ÿš€ Es gibt kein Wundershake und keine Wunderpille. START following these 4 principles to ensure you always have a good workout! - PLANNING YOUR WORKOUT Come into the gym with a plan, no winging it here. Plan your workouts around a split like full body 3 days per week, or upper/lower 4 days per week for example. Then plan each workout so you are hitting all of the muscle groups you want to target. Make most of your workout primarily compound exercises so you will stimulate the most muscle fibers, optimal for growth! - STAYING FOCUSED Getting enough sleep, taking pre-workout, or simply a black coffee can help ensure you have plenty of energy to be focused in the gym. Make sure your form is on point and that you're putting your full effort into the workout. If you are't focused on the task at hand and your mind drifts, your workout can quickly derail. - TRACKING YOUR REPS AND SETS One of the best ways to ensure that you are applying progressive overload (really important for muscle growth) is to track your reps and sets.
