ICON SPOTLIGHT: Before Virgil Abloh there was Ozwald Boateng (@ozwald_boateng), the youngest black designer to open a store on London's prestigious Saville Row in 1995. The expert tailor would later become the first creative director of colour at French luxury house Givenchy (@givenchy) during the early to mid-2000s. He is most known for his uniquely coloured suiting and tributes to African heritage, having most recently provided costumes for Marvel's Black Panther. Boateng has received an Order of the British Empire for his contributions to the British fashion industry.
