Fatte a mano. Artigianali. Mai una uguale all’altra. Sono felice che le apprezziate. #blockprintlovers#blockprintcoat#blockprinted#gold#goldprint#coat#fashion#details#oneofakind#cappotti#pezziunici
I have two very large panels of this beautiful 19th century French block printed cotton - a Chinoiserie feel to the design. Each measures 71cms x 200cms. Excellent condition with the odd pinhead, and a few stray threads on the reverse where it has been unpicked. Lovely colours. £180 each panels. Comment sold with how many you would like (only 2). #antiquetextiles#19thcentury#frenchantiquetextiles#blockprinted#frenchfabric

A beautiful, large 18th century French deep cantonniere (pelmet) panel with fabulous fabrics - block printed bamboo and exotic florals - the blue colour hand painted after printing (pinceautee). It measures 96cms x 285cms. There is some damage and a few holes, but this is a huge panel, with many beautiful motifs. Lovely document if 18th century block printed florals. £225. Wonderful large early 19th century (circa 1820s) block printed French cotton with unusual foxglove motifs. It is a deep pelmet panel measuring 58cms x 185cms. It is lightly quilted - the reverse is hand loomed linen, with the same foxglove fabric on part of it. A little damage to the lower part of the scalloped edge, but mainly very good condition. Unusual block print. £245. Comment sold to buy. #antiquetextiles#early19thcentury#1820s#frenchantiquetextiles#foxgloves#digitalis#blockprinted
What a beautiful Sunday morning, and in complete contrast to yesterday’s leopard print post is this gorgeous Indian fabric in fabulous Autumn colours. I was just rummaging around looking for a particular sweater when I found this dress. It’s an Anokhi dress that I’ve not worn for over 20 years. I’ve had it at least 25 years, if not longer, and I remember that my dear Father in law bought it for me for Christmas one year, as I’d seen it in the Chandni Chowk shop in Barnstaple and couldn’t afford it. ** so I have been corrected about this, (it’s a long time ago), my daughter and my f-i-l bought this together, as she wanted to give me something special for Christmas. She’d have been about 17 I think. Then I saw a beautiful patchwork coat in the same colours in the same shop which he bought me, probably for my birthday a month later. So it’s high time it had an airing, I’m so glad I kept it all these years, I could never bear to part with it because of the sentimental attachment. I will remember that dear man, who sadly left us 24 years ago, while I’m wearing it today. I might even get one of my granddaughters to take a photo of me in it.... #anokhi#chandnichowk#indian#blockprinted#autumncolours#coloursofautumn#90sfashion#happymemories#bampy
