THERES NO "I" IN TEAM 💥⠀ ⠀ Yesterday we had one of our coach get togethers and it was nothing short of awesome! ⠀ ⠀ If you know me you know that one of my biggest fears is height. I dont do well. I think I have it all sorted in my head but then my body just doesnt cooperate and I shake like a leaf, experience vertigo and just feel straight up breezy. Now I would be lying if I said that I hadn't contemplated backing out of the first event of the day which was tree climbing but I thought -stuff it, like the saying "if it doesnt scare you, it isn't worth doing" so I did it. I was absolutely shitting myself but I had every single one of these guys encouraging me and pushing me along and I did it, and its honestly the best feeling in the world when you conquer something like that with a team behind you! It just makes me want to do more of the things that challenge and scare me. The feeling of accomplishment at the end is addictive. ⠀ ⠀ I couldn't have asked for a better bunch of people to spend the day with. We laughed so hard my jaw hurt , We almost cried (Tree climbing is hard work) and we celebrated the teams victories and I cannot wait for our next get together in December! You could be there too if you wanted to! Honestly business aside why wouldn't you? Every single one of us have the same goals and thats to build empires in the most meaningful and fulfilling way possible! ⠀ Links in my bio if you want to know more about how to do what we do and just rock the one life you have been given.⠀ ⠀ ⠀ #onelife#changinglives#livingthedream#buildingmyempire#teamgoals#manifest#authenticallyyou#betheexample#challengeyourself#justdoit#sunday#team#noiinteam#coachlife#saffa#sainuk#dreambig#lifebydesign
One year between these photos and 25lbs 👋🏼 the picture on the left was at my nephews wedding. I remember feeling so uncomfortable and so self-conscious. I bought this gorgeous dress hoping people would notice the dress and not my size, it must of worked because I got so many compliments on my dress. Today, I feel so much more confident in this dress and even though I know I have a long way to go to my goal weight, I now hope that people will notice ME and not the dress....okay maybe the dress too 😜because it’s fab!! 🤣
You must do these four simple things to get your people to follow your lead. Be aware, most leaders tend to assume their people will follow their lead based on their roles alone. This is a major assumption based on a minor premise. And it causes breakdowns in communication far too often Because it does not scratch the surface of effective communication. Several issues happen as a result. Projects get delayed, poor quality of work, and frustration for all involved. There is a simple way to fix this, and to get your people to follow your lead, starting right now. Here are four simple things you can do to ensure effective communication with your people - 1st - Show them 2nd - Tell them 3rd - Repeat it to them 4th - Follow up with them You first have to show them what to do, then tell them why, then repeat for clarity, then follow up to check progress. This may seem like a lot of work depending on your situation. And if it is in fact a lot of work, good. Because as a leader, you have room to grow and it means you are helping your people while showing them you care. And as the saying goes, "people don't care how much you know, until they know how much you care." These simple steps will show your people exactly that - you care. You care about them, your role, your work, and your company. These simple steps show your people something else. They show them how to lead too. And when you start creating effective leaders on your team, you are creating a culture of leaders. Once your culture of leaders begins to gain momentum, you are on your way to some amazing results. Put these four simple steps into your effective communication plan today. So you can get rid of delays and frustration, and get on with your desires and fulfillment.
“Kids are like a mirror, what the see and hear they do. Be a good reflection for them.” -K. Heath Definitely not perfect over here and really stepping up my game this week especially when it comes to Jameson. We have been struggling at home hardcore with listening, following directions and a few other things. At times I feel completely at loss and playing the comparing game. Thankfully I have an amazing friend in the social work field who has shed some light on this and this week we/I are going to work on being present and really having some quality time with both boys. Not expecting any over night changes but I am hoping to see some small ones. • • • #motherhood#parenting#boymom#thisisus#betheexample#mommyandme#learning#itsaprocess
Guess what..? Come closer... I'm going to tell you a secret....⠀ 🤫⠀ Not everyone is going to like you..... ⠀ And that's okay!!⠀ I'm not everyone's cup of tea and I'm okay with that. I'm living my best life and those who want to come with are welcome, and those who don't understand can exit whenever they please 😁⠀ ◼️⠀ It's important that you know your worth and you don't see yourself through the eyes of people who can't see what you bring to the table.⠀ ◼️⠀ To the woman reading this who is struggling with finding themselves, their worth or their path... I see you! Everyone struggles with that at some point even if they don't let on to it. But I have found on my journey that when you start bettering yourself every single day, you find yourself and you find the best version you! And no one can take that away. You are strong, beautiful and capable of some kick ass things! ❣
