Day 3 actually on Day 3!!🙏😁 Navasana - Boat Pose So i got my pose today from @aneshka_yoga . I like boat pose for building core. It can be a active. When I teach boat and variations I always think about building it from the ground up. Settling in with the breath and pose for the Yin intended 3-5 breath. Always moving in the opposite direction with the spine afterwards via a reverse tabletop, reverse plank, or wheel. Also usually I want side to side Movement for the knees and hips before, after, or interspersed. Interspersed only if using a flow breath. I am stuck on a Kundalini Mantra for timing in Vinyasa flow with that Movement...BUT at the end of the day I like Yin holds in each. Settling the body for slumber. Side note I taught a heated class last night for the first time. I taught it Yin and it was the first time I didn't use a sun salutation. So freeing🙏 Yin for me also reflects the season via the light, temp, and climate slowing for a New Winter. M I S S I O N // A few years ago at my very first teacher training at @inyogalife, I defined my personal mission: to help others discover and access their true potential, both on and off the mat. The past few years teaching yoga and meditation have been rewarding beyond belief.
