Working on something (hopefully 🤞🏻) for @littlepaperswan #autumnhashtagchallenge which starts tomorrow. Although if it turns out not how I planned then I’m not showing you 😂 I will be trying to share more in this account, if anyone follows my personal account you’ll know that my youngest is in nursery for longer so I have more spare time which I intend to fill with some more arting. Which I’m sure you’ll agree is a good use of my time 😉
Autumn in New York 🌆🍁Inspired by the gorgeous photograph from @joethommas. His pictures capture the rich colors, details, & mood of a city I love so well. This particular shot of the Brooklyn Bridge stunned me with all of its rosy undertones - I just had to paint it! Now I can stare at it over a giant mug of cider & almost imagine I'm there.
Cabo’s Famous “Land’s End” 48” x 48” Mixed medium “Yah”...it’s a done deal! I finally got up my nerve and broke out the oil paints for the sky, added some waves with a palette knife and blinged out the beach with gold leaf and mica flakes. The entire scene was initially scored out with some good old Home Depot drywall mud and a scraper. This fragile babe is staying in Cabo as it could never handle shipping. For any of you locals interested in purchasing please dm me.
